There are two other very painful stings/bites. The bullet ant of South America is used as part of an initiation ritual of some natives. Said to be the most painful insect sting the world. They put ants in a wicker glove into which the initiate places their hand. The pain is as if your hand is being broken unendingly. Also, the bite of krait snake causes agonizing pain so severe that people are known to die from shock rather than the actual poison. People describe the pain as if you were on fire. The slightest touch. The slightest breath of air on the victim's skin is like searing flame pressed on you.
