This is a really thought-provoking song. At first, from hearing it only, I imagined a love story where outsiders all around are like “statues”, oblivious to a love held between two people. However, the video shows that it’s about art and one’s personal identity within society. Definitely intriguing overall; love also how one art form [sculpture] can inspire art in another form [music]. Beautiful harmony singing and shot in a really wonderful natural setting 🌲✨Congrats on the video and new music!
I saw y'all in Atlanta in October 2022. It was the first date I went on with my now ex-boyfriend, who decided to move to greener pastures just 2 weeks ago from today. I was looking forward to us seeing y'all at The Earl again in 3 weeks. It's funny how circumstances can change on a dime. As sad as I am, and as much as I dread going alone, I'll be damned if I'm gonna let recent events keep me from attending your show! Lovers come and go, but not my devotion to The Cactus Blossoms. ❤
I’d like to think Bob has listened to this album at home on vinyl in his easy chair with a strong bourbon and cigar in hand. Cactus Blossoms are the real deal. Amazing albums and even better in concert.
This reminds me of one of my all-time favorites, “Please Don't Call Me Crazy”-love the energetic rock sound and humor in this new song; looking forward very much to the rest of this album! ⚡️🎸✨
Interesting chord progressions that go well with the storytelling… especially love the fast guitar solo at 1:53 🎸✨Can’t wait for the rest of the songs to come out! 💿🎶
