I agree. The excessive drawing and the fast pased music all add to the chaotic presentation. Not very pleasant. I much prefer something like Khan academy which is much much more relaxed.

I did like to video and the concept presented in it. The ST is a good global approach ,however before I join it I would like to explore the strategies and the plan of action that will be taken to make this successful. I am also interested in knowing the factors that will be involved in the Systems approach and the time period that will be spent on making a plan of action before its implementation. Once I know all details I will be a full contributor.

Great video - thanks for sharing. I cannot agree more with the issues and systems-thinking you are promoting. This is an advocacy tool for #UHC agenda and should be shown to all those who work in technocratic single issue Global Health Initiatives to help educate+++. The Global Health Community is in danger of training up single issue or disease specific career dependent organizations and individuals - we need to promote this more 'holistic', ' systems ' 'joined-up' thinking.

Hi Doc! Thanks for uploading this wonderful video! It is fascinating! I suggest you may wish to add some of the things I want to share: 1- declaring health as a global public good 2- how to address impact of free trade on global health 3- addressing global social inequity and health inequality 4- how to base global health funding on altruism not on the national interests and strategic thinking of politicians in the donor countries' capitals

Thank you for this very interesting video. I very much believe in systems thinking in addressing health and would like to hear more about how you will be taking the systems thinking agenda forward. I will share with our group at UCSF. Best regards, Neelam

Thanks for this video which I learned of through HIFA2015. I shared the video on my blog and mapped some of the concepts to Hodges' model a universal conceptual framework: hodges-model.blogspot.co.uk/ hodges-model.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/join-revolution-for-lady-in-corner-co.html If you have any reports / conferences I can help publicize please let me know. I don't disagree and I really appreciate the transformative community-level moment but I gotta say -... ....... duh! There is an entire field of international development and health systems work? People who have spent their lives doing this work at all levels. Instead of creating one more silo, how about joining the Global Health Council, the American Public Health Association's International Health section or just talking with me, Director of the Global Health Fellows' Program (www.ghfp.net).

Thank you very much for your thoughtful comments, Dr. Rudy. I have a few comments/questions in response: -We agree that there are others that that have been applying systems thinking concepts for years (decades). But has it been adequate? My experience (and published reports/data) strongly suggests that health curricula, funding mechanisms, and the very way that we think is still deeply rooted in reductionism. -I believe that systems thinking and complexity science provide unique concepts, methods, etc (emergence, feedback, non linearity, network analysis, etc) that are not being considered/applied enough in health. -We hope that our activities are not yet another silo, but that we contribute to/catalyze/facilitate a movement that incorporates more systems thinking in all aspects of health. -Please let us know how we might collaborate with your groups (Global Health Council, GHF, etc) more effectively. Best Regards, Chad
