Why is bacon always floppy and pale in the UK? It's not the kind of bacon I personally want on my sandwiches/burgers. They should use streaky bacon, the dark red and crispy-all-the way-through kind, not back bacon for burgers.
It's far too thin on most burgers, but if slight thicker and cooked until crisper i'd be happy with back bacon. 🥓 However i do agree streaky cooked crispy and a few strips of it would be equally nice...no idea why it's always as you say undercooked and floppy lol
Great review! The advertisement always looks so much better than what they actually give you 😂. I can’t believe how small those chicken wings were. You would think a place known for chicken would have amazing wings (size, flavor, and texture). lol. P.S. I’m not weird 😂😂😂. That biscuit did not look appetizing. If you tasted a good southern biscuit, you’d probably be addicted to them. lol.

There’s a Popeyes near me, well - about 5 miles away. Was going to give it a try - you’ve convinced me! Biscuits is such a controversial topic in the UK! When I was in the US it’s basically a complete side but for after the meal - so like cheese & jalapeño ones etc! But you’d have to have it after your meal. Oddly they’re served all times of the day! Great review looking forward to the next one!
Ha never knew that re a side, i've seen them as biscuits and gravy so assumed more a main meal side...still kinda strange either way. Glad u enjoyed the review and yes defo try the hot honey as it's a nice addition to what can be quite plain battered chicken, although good quality - wings aside 🤣 👍🏻

I like your honesty Though viewers may like a PT2 - I really think you said it yourself. The channel is to review deliveries… And it’s as simplistic as it gets. Appreciate your integrity as well with your work and what not - frankly I think that’s extremely important.
Thanks...i'm still not sure about part 2 lol But part 1 was very brief, so could expand a fair bit on different aspects and also making the videos - who knows. However yep, i'm starting to think the very to the point simple style/approach is actually worth maintaining and may one day resonate with more people as refreshing no nonsense unlike a lot of channels lol Yep, i thought about a proper arms length vlog but then, as its barely off the ground subs wise, prob not the right time. But it was delivered, here we can only get the ‘make yourself’ delivery kits… Have to ask - would you ever consider their meal subscription service? Being totally honest the cost has always swung me away from it
Honestly didn't even know they were a home hello fresh type meal kit until I watched the dragons den vid you mentioned 🤣🤦🏻♂️ Before that they just popped up on deliveroo and seemed pretty decent and were thankfully. But having tried a couple of their dishes and enjoying cooking at home the principle of it yes, but as you say the cost is a bit steep...but i do agree a restaurant would charge far more to eat in. Just subscription era we seem to now live in, starts to drain the cash flow...consistently lol
Yeah it looks very good! I think based on that delivery you may have inspired me to try one of their one-off orders! The subscription service syndrome is real! Pay too much already without adding pasta to it 😂😂
I think i'm going to try the baked half and half at some point. Subscription world is going to bankrupt people at some point as it's too easy to keep adding 3 quid 7 quid a month, but keeps the rat race going i guess lol Don't think this vid is going to do well again, like the red dog saloon, stuck at 90 ish views and the algo stopped pushing it 😔 i just don't get why people don't subscribe yet overall thousands of views.

It’s odd that because I notice that the Red Dog Saloon didn’t do as well as other reviews? Yet the point of the channel is to review a broad-church of places [I imagine]. I don’t know if you push anything through X (Twitter), IG or TickTok? It may be worth it… Also short form videos. Just depends on your schedule and how much of your life you wanna dedicate. I like your Channel because it’s all the makings of the new RateMyTakeaway or UA Eats. If you was to post a short form video on a Tues/Wed with a very basic overview, say 30 seconds of your previous video - but leave the marking out - would that attract people for more views? I.e go and watch the full content? And encourage them to watch the next? I’m really strict with my subscriptions but also fair (won’t subscribe to something I’ve lost interest in etc) - but it seems a lot of content creators have the same problem.

My word that looked epic! Well priced too, especially considering the likes of Five Guys… Braver man than me though for having the meat pink, place near me sold me a burger like that (dine in) had to unfortunately send it back - wasn’t steak mince though
Yeah that meat was almost too much, but the distance the cost (although not too bad as you say) starving and aching from sat decorating, i thought f it, its ok ish. But if eating in it closer id have prob returned it. Might try another and see how it is, but delivered to a different house closer to the restaurant. And realised i didn't say anything about the fries...lol...quickest edit in a year. But they were pretty good, paprika and seasoning on them i think. But the boxes and steam / temp let them both down. Overall seemed a decent place

Great review - never been Jollibee, not sure there’s even one within the locality! Chicken does look flattened - maybe they’re trying to get more tenders/burgers per portion so they can make more profit 🤷🏼♂️ Be interested to know your view on tipping…? Tbh it’s so hit and miss for me that it all now boils simply down to how I feel. Sometimes I tip - and get thanked for it, other times I tip and almost get the food thrown at me with no gratitude! (Not that I want someone grovelling for a tip mind you). Glad you sorted out all the Davinci issues!
yeah it wasn't bad just a bit disappointing, but saying that pringles i had today for first time in over a year, i could swear they're smaller as well. it's like they think no one notices 🤣 we should start paying less at the till and saying, nah it's 1.75 it might look like 1 quid but it's not. 😂 tipping...i'll never do unless the person providing the service has to go out their way, so with this one it was over 3 miles so for return drive i don't mind adding a bit on. Yes i agree they mostly don't seem to show any gratitude either way, @londoneats should train the riders lol (his channel is eye opening) However my 9-5 i never get bonuses and i break my back for the customers lol is what it is as they say. Yeah i love DResolve but just a few quirks that end up an hour has gone by before i get something to work lol sorry for the delay with video, it was like midnight gone by time it was up.
Shrinkflation a big issue again! Especially as we reach October. It’s madness isn’t it how small things go, McNuggets yesterday were smaller (inc packaging) 100%! I get where you’re coming from with the tips! Sadly I find them to temperamental, it’s frustrating as you go can one place and do tip, but the driver doesn’t care - then go back to the same place a week or so later, don’t tip and the driver is excellent! Totally agree they need training from LondonEats! Haha 🤦🏼♂️ least it’s sorted! Also noticing views seems to be going up and subscribers slowly creeping up along with comments - all positive 🤞🏼
yep agreed on all points and yes views/subs slowly increasing thankfully lol not sure i'll be doing a vid this week as my office room is upside down with redecorating it. might have to do a mid week review once the pc/monitors are back in place.

2:46 me and that bacon double cheese xl used to go to high school together. I told him to bulk up and go to the gym but he didn't listen to me thats why the burger felt a lot smaller and thinner

Defo trying that new dip next time I’m going to BK! I’ve avoided it if truth be told! I agree about shrinkflation, no doubt about it. 22 years ago they were absolutely huge! Even a few years ago they were! Another good review mate. The XL or even standard BDC has never been my thing but that’s personal preference Only an idea - but you mentioned about losing weight, would it be an idea for a review about that? Like ordering food but being calorie conscious? I’ve done it myself by rather than ordering a Big Mac meal (for example) I’ll get a hamburger, fries and black coffee - but it’s interesting as the cost due to the pricing infrastructure means you’re not actually saving that much. Only a suggestion! But maybe “delivery on a diet” would be an idea for people wanting a lower cal meal, but price comparison makes for an interesting point of discussion 🤷🏼♂️
yeah the delivery diet is a good idea and could be a few vids on it. Most would say i'm far from overweight tbh, 6'3 15st 11, but just started to do my head in with clothes that became tight lets say lol So been on the diet whey during the week to allow the takeaway at the weekend. I've always loved the BDC but can be sort of plain ish if the bacon is on point and same with the burgers lol Glad u enjoyed the review! 👍🏻

Zinger by far spicier / Hotter, but this chilli jam deffo has a bit of heat, but not over powering...kind nice addition to the already decent royale and the whopper.
I’m chuffed you enjoyed the Royale! I genuine cannot consider that bacon sadly (no one will convince me!)! All they need to do is cook it for an extra 60-120 seconds 😂😂 As always - great review. I know what you mean about the batter with the chilli cheese bites! But you got decent onion rings and an otherwise great meal! As ever looking forward to the next one! PS: have you considered using Twitter to expand your platform? Just thinking that some of the franchises pump out a promotion but a genuine review [comment directing them to your YT] from yourself may garner some extra subs!

Hi, unfortunately tenders were the items I didn't have, sorry. However as you probably saw their wings were pretty good but quite heavy on the coating. Ii was also to carry on the dish'd group takeaway. I hope your order is good let me know how you found it... I will also go back to them at some point and have wings in a different flavour and also like yourself, tenders.
@@MrDeliveredFoodReviewed lol it's ok no need to apologise 😂 To my suprise I found it really good. The tenders were crispy, thankfully not too thick on the coating. Really liked the honey siracha tenders (they have me one extra tender so was happy about that) The only thing which was a small hastle was the amount of oil. Nashville tenders are probably supposed to be oily, but the honey siracha tenders had a lot of oil + sauce. So it kind of got on my bed (yeah it was a little risky to eat on my bed) Overall, it was really good. Because there was so much sauce+oil, I put the coated the chips in the sauce which made it taste 10000x better. Overall, food was really good in my opinion. Hopefully the next experience will be better for you!

Great review! Shame about your experience! I really enjoyed it when I had it - but didn’t look a thing like your meal did. I think this is always the problem with deliveries from places like KFC/BK/McDonald’s - and you’re absolutely right to keep highlighting it. Quite like the 80% view point though… Decent way to look at it. Personally, I’ve no time for the “you can cook it from home” brigade - they are right to a point but ultimately if everyone had that mindset there would literally be no delivery franchise out there. For the price vs product though I was quite shocked with what was delivered to you. I had pretty much exactly the same meal, but ate inside & there was two of us - it came to similar price… Therefore couldn’t agree more about pricing. Now more than ever, in my view, these companies need to focus on improving delivery standards - they know it’s effectively a one-way customer journey, sadly, so they can get away with more (in my opinion) Looking forward to the next video
Well deffo good to hear in store was far better as like i say i thought here we go again, advertised vs reality was mind blowing! Kinda did my head in a bit as was really looking forward to it. I think i'm gonna have to go in store then take out as there a few close by, then see how it differs, but i guess they know delivery orders people can't really do much to complain as such, so maybe don't bother - although the local takeaways non franchise/brand seem to do same in or out that i e found over the years. However good to hear your experience was as expected - as it should be, plus better prices...only realised this week that deliveroo don't offer KFC so deliveroo plus waste of time lol
Great review as ever- is it just me or has kfc massively dropped in quality since like 2018? I know they had some supply changes or something....I just remember going in school or in uni say 2002-2011 ad it was AMAZING. It's just been so mediocre in the last few years, not sure why, the chicken doesnt even taste high quality anymore

Yeah same, all these places are just getting worse, so the only aspect that can be changing is the staff putting them together and marketing teams trying win awards 🤣 It's getting so disappointing to see a good advert and then get as you saw (although i'm sure not every items comes out the same) almost unrecognisable! Seems the food industry has a free pass to straight lie 🤣 As the saying goes, nothing is made/built like it used to be sadly.
