Love dayZ. I never play vanilla though it's too empty and boring haha I will never play without mods. Some of the PVE servers they have are amazing and you can actually have bases and don't have to worry about the bs on vanilla.
@@PatriotJedi getting back into the game like I am I’m wanting to start trying some modded stuff for sure, new maps and modded servers and what not, I gotta do some research cuz it’s a little overwhelming, I can’t even find the walking dead mod and or server lol
@@DIGITALSANDBOX I've played primarily pve just because there are so many great mods and crazy ones but it's cool to have a base collect cool weapons and gear and have some sort of progression and persistence. The jurassic servers are something special if you like having to worry about t-rex's and raptors running around too. 😆
Ah yes rust is a tough game. Next episode I want to watch you make a 2x1 base 🙌🏼 maybe do a lil research before hand but you got this ! Welcome to rust you will have many story’s from this game good and bad. Every wipe there is a story to be told if you look hard enough.
As someone with 3500 hours it kind of gave me a cringe attack looking at your mistakes, so here's a few tips (the random words in brackets are terms vast majority of players use to refer to items): ALWAYS make sure you have at least 2 doors closed before opening your front door, the moment that door is open you could be killed - and the last thing you want is someone going into (deeping) your base and stealing your loot. blue "people" are NPCs called scientists, they spawn randomly on roads, at certain monuments and the oil rigs + cargo ship, and you cannot loot their weapons or armour. They'll drop some misc loot but that's it. you can view the stats of any item by clicking it in your inventory, with guns it'll show you the damage, fire rate etc. You can even hover over your character in your inventory and see what protection you have for your head, legs and chest (20 - 30% on all body parts is recommended for using guns) holding down left alt will allow you to look around without actually changing your direction or orientation (this one is especially important, alt look often - it'll save you from getting shot in the back) there are plenty of aimtrain servers you can join to improve your aim, but playing regular servers is also important for developing awareness and game sense. you should take a few things with you when going out with guns - some medical syringes, 4 - 6 is good (you can research these at a level 2 workbench in the tech tree), some wooden barricades and bandages are also recommended (walls can instantly be placed for easy cover, and bandages stop bleeding so that medical syringes (meds) are more effective), and obviously ammo (with a semi-automatic rifle (SAR) most people take 50 - 60 spare 5.56mm bullets, with a thompson (tommy) most people take 60 - 80 spare pistol bullets, there are lots of other guns too that I didn't mention) to respawn at a bag you have to select that bag on the death screen, pressing respawn will make you respawn along the spawn beach. I recommend a youtube channel by the name "Jfarr", I watched him when I was new and it really helped, he has many tips & tricks videos for almost everything in the game. Rust can be very harsh for newer players, I hope these few tips helped.
It was very nice of you to give him tips. I wish more players were as kind. When I started, 9k hours ago, it was a though learning curve. Now, there is even more to the game, so I can imagine how difficult it could be for new players.
@@jimmybledsoe8081 yeah for sure, I started about 1 and a half years ago and i feel back then it was quite a bit easier to learn this game. In my opinion the last 8 ish force wipes have been pretty game changing, the meta has definitely shifted a lot since when i started with all the new stuff.
My advice to folks is if you plan on doing alot of fps combat set up at a station and buy extra gear and store it at the station. Your going to lose your gear at some point so its best to just shop in bulk. I buy like 10 sets of heavy armor guns and a bunch of ammo. Don't forget to bring a medi gun either.
You can alt+rightclick to go into precision fitring mode. I played in one of these centres yesterday on a good server during the night. We were 3 players in heavy armor and good wepaons and still barely made it out. They use cover and peak. They throw grenades, They shoor from far away out of cover. Some are flanking. It was insane. Hebraist will do a video from that. I love seeing players going in these locations. Especially on good servers. Because the Ai is crazy if the server can keep up. There were a lot of Hurston dsecurity guards with Shotguns. They were deadly. I got oneshot multiple times. We had multoiple tier 1 insurys. My max health was 43% and i was fully drugged with blurry view limping. Had to take drugs to keep my hurt arm in action to be able to fire. Then run out of drug too. Limped back with thecyclone to our carrack.
They need to clean up the hud a bit. Symbols are over the targets so you cant see them but i like MM fights. But i am a PVE player. Much more action and cinematography.
the kill-sound and hitmarks, floating obnoxious low difficulty setting crosshair, that MM flight lol this is hard to watch and impossible to play and not feel like call of duty in space
You could always drink your drink in one go. You only needed to hold down the mouse button instead of clicking to drink. One more thing, don't drive your vehicle over the NPCs. They will phase into your vehicle with you. You'll be trapped in the seat and they'll be shooting you from inside the cab.
So I know that now you have a Hercules, but the Storm tank should fit nicely in your carrack and would be better for anti-infantry purposes. Or you know... just use an Ursa rover.
You took two missions that were meant for raid parties. And on the second one the turret didn't fire at your ship until you shot it because it was a lawful bunker the baddies were invading and the turret was never gonna shoot at you... until you shot it.
It doesn't for me like that anymore. If I tap, I chug it. I have to tap again to stop. Not sure if its a bug or new feature. It wasn't in the patch notes.
It is called the "Tonk" because a French Dev in the UK team was working on it and he pronounced it Tonk, unfortunately because of Britexit had to leave CIG in the UK. In terms of the aUEC, it reports your total UEC on the website, not the aUEC in game.
This game has the potential to become the game of all games. I stay away from it for some time as it spoils my other experiences. If you want a medical bed on your ship get a medivac and park it into the C2. You can respawn in all beds since latest patch if I remember right. The splash damage does not go behind cover unless you aim above head so it splashes down. It is kinda wonky, so the TONK needs some love. You know what's funny, situations like no key card are real to life. Dude went for lunch, so just one of those days.
Great video! It's always fun seeing someone enjoy Star Citizen for what it is. A couple of "problems" you ran into were preventable, but it's also very cool to experience things firsthand and figure things out. Hope you can keep finding your fun, because there's so much Star Citizen has to offer, especially when you take a step back and look at the bigger picture. Maybe the biggest step that can help you have fun is to find people to play with, it took me years to find like-minded players, but mostly thanks to the Overdrive Initiative missions, I got to play with very awesome people!
Had a great time during free fly, was thinking of buying but Ive decided to leave it until the next free fly as I should have graduated by then so might splurge a little, spent free fly doing a bit of everything, ERTs with buddies, salvaging in a reclaimer and vulture and some mining, ERTs were most fun imo but we'll see if that changes in a years time.
