The prices going up so much does not equate to nothing happening. The cost of living crisis is worldwide unless you don't live in the real world. Prices will even go higher come 2023. Prepping is helping us not to feel the pinch in real times and also for next year...... In the UK so many are having to rely on food banks or use credit cards to make ends meet For Preppers our preps are helping us not to end up in the same category and we are also helping the people who are struggling thereby reducing reliance on the system all because we planned ahead and prepared, burying your head in the sand like so many will lead to more people not being able to survive on the current incomes. Everything is going up except the wages that is why there is so many strikes up and down this country. People cannot afford the costs of everything. N. B: The war in Ukraine is making the cost of living crisis worse and unpredictable. As long as the war continues the whole world will continue to feel the effects directly or indirectly. Prepping is a choice for the far sighted.
Thank you for your video. You are miles ahead of the human herd. It seems to me that people are too heavily invested in their lives to accept the fact that we are all in trouble. I mean, when the "for profit" system we support and maintain is going to leave us starving and freezing, .. what are we doing? And why are we doing it? It's easier to deny and claim that all is OK, ... There's safety in denial. Take care and good luck.
Hi - new subscriber here and really enjoying your channel love. Don’t worry about the negative people. Some people feel they are entitled to tell people what they can and can’t do with their lives. I just have a quick question. How do you keep the flour safe to eat? It doesn’t Have the longest shelf life even if you freeze it. If it’s in the cupboard for a long period it could get stale or get weevils or flour mites. I was just wondering how you counteract that as I would like to store a little more flour but always worried about this. Also would you be able to do a pantry tour as I would like ideas about storage and how / where to store. Many thanks xxx
I am storing my flour in storage buckets and using bay leaves as they help to keep bugs at bay. You can freeze flour for a few hours take it out to defrost and then store it. I am not storing much flour either as it is not the easiest of preps to store. I have done a video showing my Pantry when I shared the heavy duty shelving unit from Argos, scroll through my videos if you want to see it, I showed the storage unit in one and the storage buckets in the other. Remember it is one prep at a time, slowly but surely.....Best wishes and have a great day.
This is nothing new in the United States. Meanwhile the government allows criminal companies like Nestle to drain us dry of water and then sell it back to us. While we have people suffering right here at home the government will continue to launder money with Ukraine. It never ends.
I'm not waiting until pay day. I'll use my cc and pay it off straight away. Can't delay until 30th September. I have good stocks, but more the better. I don't buy junk like biscuits or crisps. All food is tinned or dry whole basics: beans, rice, potatoes, carrots, tinned meat, soups, herbs and spices. I was so lucky, I got two Summit LED lanterns in the discontinued section for £2.50 each. These take rechargeable batteries, so will be perfect for blackouts. I keep one by the front door and one by the bed. I go to bed early to keep central heating off. Read a book or watch RU-vid. I got rid of my TV and WiFi a couple of months ago and these have significantly lowered by electricity bill. I also collect shower water and use it to fill the toilet cistern. My last water/sewage bill was £72, down from £96 previous half year. Hopefully, next bill will be even lower as I only started doing this a couple of months ago.
Sounds like you are doing great with preps and reducing your bills. We are all trying all ways we can. I am sure that the preps will come in handy as the temperature drops and so will our standards of living and uncertainty increasing unfortunately. Hi, I hope you're well. My local Lidl haven't had any longlife milk for a week, I managed to get the last few cartons in Aldi. I'm prepping every few days now and filling my cupboards. Very worrying x
I think people are starting to prep and at the same time with all the current events shortages are starting too, keep prepping because it will definitely get worse as predicted.
I think that price was for Heinz brand. Aldi's own is much cheaper than that. There has been a shortage of the original one that the alternative brand even though expensive sold out.
On a night when we're watching tv in the living room were sat with led candles and have these bulb lamps that take battery from home bargains trying to cut down on light it's like living in the dark ages it's getting worrying for winter now x
Lights are cheap to run at 5 watts each. My Main concern is power shower, emersion heater, kettle and cooker using up to 7000 watts by comparison. On the bright side we will all safe money during blackouts. That's when the rechargeables come into their own
Lots of people have switched to Aldi that is why it is ranking so high in the UK supermarkets, the middle class folks are all looking for ways to stretch their money too. Thanks for watching.

Your viewer is probably speaking from a place of fear...if they admit there is a problem...then they need to do something about it. So rather than get prepared, they will do nothing and suffer later. You're so smart to stock up on the oil and flours, these things have doubled and tripled in price here. So glad we found your channel. You all stay safe and well🤗
It's not a colour thing it's a rich Vs poor thing. Rich people don't care about poor people. They never have. The only thing they think poor people are good for is to continue to make rich people rich. We need to change that ourselves. We need to help each other. And stop helping big banks and big corporations. Prepper zan on RU-vid has been posting videos for a while about the water in USA and she says even in the very middle class areas they are having issues with water too. Water is a need. They will try their best to use it against us.
All and good to stock up food but unless you have an underground bunker , if there is war or a zombie apocalypse, how are you gonna carry all that? Also if I was prepping I wld focus on high protein as u consume less of it and keeps you full for longer? Just curious.
There is all sorts of Emergencies, War and Apocalypse being some of them. I am preparing for the current ongoing Worldwide Economic crisis. If the War comes home then it will be time for Plan b or c. As preppers we always have to prepare for all eventualities. With looking at the current world climate we have so much to contend with for example climate change which has a direct impact of food production and availability, worsening cost of living crisis e.t.c......Unfortunately nothing an be ruled out as things stand.
I am prepped, check my other video on Lighting preps. I have my candles, Lanterns, torch lights, lighters and Universal charger ready just in case. I am still researching the best stove to buy. My winter clothing, fleeces, stocks, and water bottles are ready. Thanks for watching.
