They were right to take out the tambourine and slow it down some, it's really distracting. But other than that, a little smoothing out and it's just about ready.
I actually love this version, but the poor recording quality shows, as there are places where the vocals seemed to have been poorly spliced in, and the tempo seems to temporarily change, making it very noticeable.
Not sure if Taylor lost the tempo or if it's a result of splicing in the vocals, but listen when he goes into the verse at 1:28 "plant a seed, plant a flower, plant a rose." There's a definite change in tempo.
I'm gonna be honest. I was pissed because Hanson covered this banger. Now I'm pissed because there is absolutely no reason that this cover was this good. Absolute Banger
Was theme of the novel Pura Magica (2005) theme of Soraya (Juliana Baroni) she was a villain that wanted the husband of your sister Ingrid (Fantine Thó).
Was theme of brazilian novel Pura Mágica (2005) of the Reviva Channel was theme of Fernando (Fabinho Mello) and Soraya (Juliana Baroni) . Beautiful music. Is track 03 of international soundtrack of the novel.
We used to make fun of these guys, back in the 90's, but they were actually doing what many of dreamed of doing. As far as a I know, they're still going strong. I hadn't even thought about them for a long time, until I saw a couple of weeks ago that Zac was ordained to the Holy Diaconate in the Romanian Orthodox Church. I guess the singing paid-off!
The fact that they managed to still make music today in an ever changing music world their counterparts disappeared but they are still at it making music proof that talent, personalities and genuine skill can take you anywhere without making it inappropriate music wise
I know I’m really tired and emotionally vulnerable right now, but this version of song brings so much nostalgia that a happy/sad feeling is attached to it. It’s a beautiful song. Hah.
If this was the original tempo of the song it totally explains why I couldn't understand a word of the lyrics (expect "still caaaare" etc) in the final version. (PS. Todd in the Shadows brought me here.)
This song is really sad, actually, despite sounding poppy. One of them probably shot this life in one too many lines, rather than the girl in the song.
Lyrics Well I don't care, what you say I don't have use for your words anyway You don't need a Cadillac cause I'll be waiting with my bare back to carry you there Try and you don't have to be afraid to just rely on someone to hold away part of you child It's alright You can get to much to handle by yourself If you can't do it alone I know you will say I don't know what's at stake Or what it takes Well I don't care, what you say I don't have use for your words anyway you don't need a Cadillac cause I'll be waiting with my bare back To carry you there Turn around and you just might see the good you've left behind But you're all caught up in what's still left to find and it's never enough so slow down and the root of what you're feeling might appear when all the pushin' up the hill has brought you here and you're used up to the line if you tell me you are fine Well I don't care, what you say I don't have use for your words anyway you don't need a Cadillac Cause I'll be waiting (I'll be waiting) To carry you there Oh yeah Say - don't be too proud I'm holding my hand out You've been my friend on darker days See, I'll still be there Despite your despair And I don't really care what you say hey hey hey I'll carry you there I will carry you there [x10]
