AHHHHHH!!!! IT'S THE SALAD BOWL ROUNDELS!!!! EWWW!!!! NASTY!! DISGRACEFUL!!!! ahem... I apologize for that. I just really don't like those roundels. I mean really BBC?
I have the two existing episodes of ' Moonbase ' on the good old VHS, entitled ' Cybermen... The early years ' ( available on ebay ) ... Don't recall this Ray gun scene though... Will have to get the VHS out again, I guess....
Hi everyone just to say I’m deeply saddened to hear about David grahams passing. He worked very hard doing the dalek voices in the tv programme thank u to him And his friend Peter Hawkins, he did a brilliant job . I miss him it’s a very sad time .
One of my very favorite Fifth Doctor stories, this and "Enlightenment". Kind of the "Let's meet Turlough" trilogy. Not a big fan of "Terminus", when we say goodbye to Nyssa, however.
Are the Autons good here? Sorry for asking. Just speculating because I love the Autons here but some say that they are at theeir Lowest here or is it just me?
I remember thinking for years when this story was missing that the scene of Salamander would be disappointing. Now that it's recovered, I'm so glad it isn't. That is the best ending to any Dr Who villain both as a cool spectacle for 60s effects and also it just being a hilarious fate from a writing perspective
I miss fun doctor who stories like this without all the personal pain , drama and depressing atmosphere Jo and the doctor being friends and having adventures. After all it's an adventure show not a therapy session.
The Brigadier's trip down Memory Lane is one of my favorite parts of "Mawdryn Undead". When we hear the names of Jo Grant, Sarah Jane Smith, and Liz Shaw being whispered, I can just picture them whispering their names
