Thank you Desi for bringing us along! The entire series was so fun to watch - you and the entrie company are truly remarkable! Yesterday I rewatched Pie a La Road and got a bit nostalgic. This final epispde is truly the cherry on top.
This production was such a joy to behold over Memorial Day weekend, and to see your Jenna again after all these years. Also seeing Gizel's Dawn after seeing her Nessa in Wicked...wow. A true "slice of gratitude" pie.
Desi, I don't know you in person, but you just seem like you have the biggest, most genuine heart. I have had a big smile on my face through every episode.
Thank you, Desi, for giving us such a wonderful insider’s view of what it takes to put on a Broadway show. My husband and I are so excited to see tomorrow’s matinee! Ogunquit Playhouse shows never disappoint…total Broadway quality right here in Maine! 🎭🌲🦞
Just loved watching your voice lesson! As a current voice major it was really cool to see how you continue to improve your craft and find new things. Much love, Desi!!
Yay Desi! So much fun following along this journey. I’m not sure if I missed it - but was this set built specifically for this production or is it the broadway/tour one?
I think this is the set for the non-equity tour! Andrew Burton Kelley was in the tour and he posted that he found some notes he had left in the set when he came back for the Ogunquit production
Thank you for posting these little episodes, Desi! It’s so fun to see behind the scenes, meet the cast, and see your routine. The first time I ever saw Waitress was at the Pantages in LA and your performance as Jenna will always hold a special place in my heart. So happy to hear you get to reprise this role which you were made for! Sugar, Butter, break legs! 🥧💕
I love the mix of brand new cast and seasoned Waitress cast and crew. I'm ridiculously excited to come up and see this production after having seen it on tour.
