Hello, Padilla's Poultry is a small hobby farm in Hobbs, NM raising a little variety of poultry at any time of the year. I do sell hatching eggs and birds at times. We are NPIP and also have a New Mexico Game Bird Propagation permit.
I have a pair of bantam BB red that are currently laying and a pair of black birchen currently laying. Yes I do sell fertile eggs. Rarely but I do lol. I do have a select few fertile eggs for sale tho now
I always say I’m gonna eat em, or keep em to breed… but they are a pain the but to keep really, and I end up selling them as live birds and make a schitt ton of money…
Beautiful animals. I keep OEGBs but sure wouldn't mind having some of these if I had more yard. Got many of the same colors but yours are all longer legged.
I wouldn't do that the chukars are very aggressive and will kill the chickens. If you have a bunch make sure that they are not crowded because they'll get aggressive with each other I have a friend that put some with his pheasant's and they killed everything.
I order them in eggs to hatch a few years ago but now me and a buddy raise them for the freezer. We put the breeders in the freezer and raise replacements every year. Thanks for looking.
I'm not shipping at this time as it has got too hot to ship. I can do pickup if you live close to me, or you can check back mid September to late October to see if anything is available. Thank you.
@ Derrick Kendall After I clean out the pens then I spray them with Permethrin and let it dry then I'll sprinkle and lay of barn lime, diatomaceous earth, and permethrin power. I've been doing it like that for the last 4 years my add a little dirt now and then. Thank you.
