Music mostly with Pianoteq and Organteq. Pianoteq and Organteq are physically modeled instruments, no samples. They ”uses a unique powerful physical model that creates the sound in realtime as you play instead of playing back a set of recorded samples” (Modartt) Notice: All music recorded with headphones. I suggest you listen with good headphones, if possible.
Hello! When about sound and pianos, it's all about personal taste. I think people should go for what they think is good. In any case, I want to say my opinion, personal taste. I have Modartt all pianos and always buy a new one when it comes. You can never have enough once you start. I like Bluthner, U4, Steingraeber, Petrof Mistral , Steinway B and newest Bösendorfer 280 VC. Not using the Steinway D (although almost everyone want it) nor the K2 either. K2 It is not based on any specific model but created from scratch by the Modartt virtual piano factory, combining the best elements of several source pianos. I wish you good luck! Whatever you choose, physically modelled pianos are the best in terms of playability. And thank you for listening to my music. More to come…630 pieces so far, growing…

@@miravoramarolahy5578 Because of my my many (640 pieces at the moment) I don't remember where I got particularly this piece. Although songs are public domain, they are not always free. If you write the name of the song and the composer, there are several pages that sell the sheet music. But IMSLP (Petrucci Music Library) gives free access to a huge number of public-domain scores.
This piece is beautiful! I suppose that Organteq is playing from a MIDI file. In this case, a few suggestions for improvement: changing registration during the piece would allow you to render better the nuances. And there are also several wrong notes on the manuals
Thank you bobbadinter for listening to my music and giving comment. Appreciate it. This is not from a midi file, I am playing live and recording on my Daw in Mac mini. late .14. The mini processor is so bad it couldn't handle all information to show the playing on manuals. Had to use this picture. The power was enough to render it.
Please read my description, I'm looking for new sounds, not to sound like a normal church organ. I try to explore "unknowns musical lands". I'm an experimenter.
Thank you Stefaan. I was wondering how people are receiving this different registration but there are so many possibilities, especially with registrations Experimental: Is that a synth? and Exp. Progressive, Tweaked and Clockwork organs. There is a lot you can pick out and combine, and every register has 10 different presets, wow! Just let your imagination run wild. Thank you for listening to my music and giving comments. I really appreciate it.
@@rytmijaba1312 I may be the wrong person to ask in the sense that I tend to enjoy things that are not "conventional". Maybe organ purists would compare some of the registrations to theatre organ sound? I think of organ stops as "partials on steroids", and choosing stops as a kind of "additive synthesis". One can make many timbres just by adding together different components, a bit like painter making colors by mixing more basic colors. If there are any conventions in the organ world, I wouldn't know about them (which is not something I'm necessarily proud of, but at the same time, it doesn't hinder me from playing and enjoying it).
Thank you for listening to my music and giving kind comment. There are no samples in these piano sounds. As they (Modartt) say:" What makes Pianoteq superior to other virtual instruments is that the instruments are physically modelled and thus can simulate the playability and complex behaviour of real acoustic instruments. Because there are no samples, the file size is just a tiny fraction of that required by other virtual instruments, making Pianoteq perfect for any laptop". I have an Roland keyboard but have not used it since I got Pianoteq. I appreciate most the playability, can't compare to a sampled piano. And there are SO many ways to change the sound if you need, hammerhardnes, string length, impedance, tuning etc etc.I'm an amateur but training with Ptq since 2013 I have become a better player. here an example improvising with Steinway B :ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XrByI9DDyyw.html Stay tuned.

Thank you very much. iI's the eleventh time I've entered this annual competition and never won anything, but it's fun to be involved. Thank you for your kind comment, much appreciated. Who knows, maybe I'll make it into the top 10 this year….And Good Luck to you in the competition. Like your entry, fantastic, because you do it so smoothly and with flow, that's nice.
Sometimes I move the slider to the right when i need a softer, fuller sound. but this is a" rock piano" so if the sound is a little sharper, it cuts through better when used in an orchestra. But you are right, some people think the ptq is tuned too well so moving mint slider making it sound not so tuned, sound softer. It is good that we have mint slider and many many other parameters to change the sound so everyone can get the sound they want. Thank you much for your comment. And, you are "not the only one". I appreciate you are listening carefully..
I'm intrigued by Organteq but didn't buy it yet. In your opinion, is it noticeably better than v1? This demo sounds great to my ears, but I have to admit I'm not very used to hearing "the real thing".
Thank you for listening Stefaan. Appreciate it. Yes, it is absolutely noticeable better because of so many many new features. Orgtq 2 just totally blew me away with the many new exciting features! I am attaching a link so you can decide for yourself. Would take hours to tell here. Click on the link, click on the eight icons/pictures and scroll down and read. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read. Listen to their demos on the website too, I have one there too. Orgtq v 2 is a wonderful toolbox now. If you have time, let me know what you think.. Do you know any other organ vst instrument that has this sound? 2:44 it is slightly different than others. And I want to play it with that tone so bad but organteq is too expensive for me so I'm looking for decent alternatives
I have to say I don’t know about any other organ with this sound because Organteq is physically modeled, meaning, there is no samples at all. (Other organs have recorded sounds from real organs, samples). From modartt site: ”By omitting usage of samples, the file size is just a tiny fraction of that offered by other virtual organs, perfect for use on any modern laptop. The sound is generated in real time from scratch, reproducing the typical and variable pipe attack transients "chiff" as well as the 3D configuration, where pipes are located in space according to their keyboards. Even the action noises from keys, stops and couplers are modelled. All this makes the instrument livelier than sample based variants, bringing more realistic variability in attack and sustain”. But, there is a free trial version you can use as long as you want. It comes with some restrictions: 8 notes are disabled (silent): F#1, G#1, A#1, C#5, D#5, F#5, G#5 and A#5. Must be restarted after 20 minutes. This is a free version of Organteq for evaluation purpose. I started myself with it. About the sound you like: As one can see in the picture I’m using only 3 stops and tremulants for the sound (those 2 white knobs which giving more space and a little vibrato making sound a bit fuller and soft). And using couplers so I get the sound from all 3 manuals with only one keyboard.. Hope this info help a bit, anyway, a trial version don’t cost anything and there is no 30 days limit.
@@rytmijaba1312 Hey Friend!! I've visited your channel. Your channel does not receive enough views and subscribers. I think, You don't properly optimize your channel for SEO(Search Engine Optimization).
I don't know. But I am happy playing Pianoteq and Organteq. Maybe some people don't like these instruments because they are not sampled. The sound creates in real time when you are playing, no samples.. It is called physically modelling. I like it. Thank you much for listening.
@@illogicmath I am using only a mac mini late -14 and daw garageband in mac mini and software Organteq downloaded/bought from Modartt. You can check the price from their site but it's about 269€, I think. One can use Orgtq as stand alone too. There is a trial version free, no time limit but probably some keys not working until one buy it. Then they lock it up. About 200 Organteq videos here with very different music. here I use a Pianoteq guitar as solo and Orgtq in background ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OOHFdfZVkTY.html and one Modartt site www.modartt.com/organteq
Thank you so much for comment and for listening to my music. I appreciate it. I love this new instrument, guitar, from Modartt. And I have a thread in the forum, recordings, with all my guitar pieces in one place, growing.
Thank you for listening to my music. It is a nice upright piano. I have changed some parameters (that's the good thing one can do with Pianoteq to get it to your liking). The condition slider is changed a bit for fuller sound (Picture Mint) and the unison width ( variation between the three strings of each note). Then I got this sound I like. because it is physically modelled and not sampled and thus can simulate the playability and complex behaviour of real acoustic piano. Change whatever you like. Enjoy Pianoteq :) A sampled sound is like a picture, it is locked as when it was taken.
Thank You. I’m glad you are listening to my music/playing. ”A perfectly sterilized pipe organ sound” - that was a nice comment. Organteq is a physically modelled pipe organ, no samples at all. The sound generates in realtime from scratch when you are playing. ”By omitting usage of samples, the file size is just a tiny fraction of that offered by other virtual organs, perfect for use on any modern laptop. Thank you so much for the comment k c Paul Li. I am glad you are listening to my my different kind of music. Stay tuned, and visit Modartt Recordings too, if you have time.
Thank you so much Stefaan for kind and beautiful comment. yes, I use tremulants often i my music because it gives kind of nice reverb and depth in music - ethereal, yes, extremely delicate and light in a way that seems not to be of this world.
Thank you so much k c Paul Li for your comment and for listening to my music. I appreciate it. I listened to your beautiful performance of Bach Keyboard Concerto No. 5 in F Minor, BWV 1056, II. Largo. I have played it too with an old Roland and strings long ago. I wish I had those strings now and could play it with Petrof Mistral Warm. Another composer I've never heard of. Classical radio stations should stop playing the same pieces and composers over and over again, and start digging into the universe of forgotten composers (as well as giving some more attention to contemporary composers :) ).
Yes Stefaan, and I give you voice to one more piece of this blind composer you not have listened to. A more recent composer, yes, and it might be unique that it can be heard on yt. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-BxjPqx3sQOU.html Thank you for listening. I appreciate all your comments.. I have 12 more pieces of more recent forgotten composers, probably not on yt before. Stay tuned :)
