W.I.P. means Work in Progress very handy to work with! (i am losing the color numbers for example) I write them down so nothing can go wrong! You answered first lol Stephanie! I also was pretty confused with CAL, WIP, and those things haha when i just started to crochet (4 yrs ago) I am Dutch and i am having also a membership on a Dutch Crochet box which is monthly ! It is exactly like this box but #Ylabox is sending out monthly but also every month another theme and designer and you get all the stuff you need and some nice presents too! The only thing is It is only written in Dutch not in English! It was very helpful for me bc i've learned to crochet with American Crochet terms here on RU-vid ( i couldn't find a Dutch crocheter at that time and my second language is English so no problem i thought :D ) Until i bought a Dutch crochet magazine in which i saw a nice project i wanted to try but it was a written pattern , so i didn't knew what the Dutch names of all the American English crochet terms were! I was used to work with drawed patterns with all the signs DC, slipstich next to it. I worked with cheatsheets for 2 months and then i found a Dutch woman on instagram which had a Dutch spoken (and also English) and so i have learned to read and understand the crochet terms in my own language hahahaha! The crochetbox i'll get is called,, Ylabox www.ylabox.nl It's such a wonderful box to and monthly may'be they will send you one? I know there are more English speaking people who are wanting the Ylabox. . I am deffenitely go for this box too! Absolutely gorgeous!!! I’m subscribed to the cotton box and I loooove it!!! The pin with the yarn as a pineapple is very cute. Also my favorite so far.
