Awesome set of painted figures there John. The fine details on the Hussar uniforms are incredible & must have taken some time & concentration. Inspiring as always.

Nicely turned out. It's a great plastic kit. Shabraque is the horse cloth and pelisse is flapping over the shoulder. Hussars in full dress are great to look at but campaign is much easier to paint!

They only interest I have in Napoleonics is 1/1200h naval, because the uniforms of the time have too many bells, bows and whistles on them for my tastes. But these are very inspiring. Nice one.

Fantastic looking unit, you certainly captured the look of french cavalry on campaign in Spain. The tones and shades of the painting are outstanding.

Scary looking fantasy characters but great colours! I love the Wild West figures, those flowing jackets look awesome. Another beautiful painted set of figures.

Nice, I took mine off the painting sticks yesterday. I did them as the 6th Hussars. I used contrast to block as much as I could and then went back in with traditional acrylic. There is quite a bit of detail to paint, mine are just wargame standard, but they look nice to my eyes.

I've have all of those Black Scorpion Old West figures and they're a joy to paint.

The metal standard-bearers (especially that Praetorian one in the middle) look like they'd topple over easily.

How did i miss this till now? i am a massive Hussar Fan, will buy these off of you if not already sold. I will send email now. Another great Hussar book is a recent one by Paul L Dawson that includes Chasseurs. I have all 3 of the Hussar Histoire & Collections by Jouineau and cost me a fortune.

Re Raw Sienna it’s from the Vallejo Arte Deco range (85113), which comes in larger 60ml size. I picked some up for same price as the 17ml VMC pots from Airbrush Fengda.

The Vallejo mahogany brown is a good horse color. The Game Color leather brown is also close to sienna
