As a former areospray main and now a tri-slosher main I have to agree with those statements. At the start of the match tri-Sloshers will just do whatever the fuck they want honestly
I kinda wanna make a stupid little fnf mod on this that has the song be super low quality and the rest of the mod is actually good with other well known references
1:54 as an octo brush user i can confirm because how this works you ignor everything and just head STRAIGHT to the enemy tesm's spawn and destroy them because of how broken the stupid brusj is
the main thing is, the big idea is that it's harder to climb the higher you reach. it's a simple idea that's even put into ranked, and there's no reward anyways so making it harder doesn't mean too much
It does kinda work in ranked system since you actually can gain something for your efforts like ranking up and such. The system I presented is really unfair and random and also without any reward but a cosmetic change. I do think that there should be a challenge behind reaching higher steps, but it should not be in such a casual mode like turf war, it should be rather a nice achievement for spending your time in turf war. I think this type of reward could make turf war more fun and encouraging especially for casual players that don't want to sweat and be competitive which is probably what Nintendo wants (They mainly care abut casual part of Splatoon)

Honestly I doubt any dev could understand without subtitles, but I guess not everyone is monolingual. It's an interesting problem, but honestly I've just given up on this game because of how unfair and random it is. So I have little investment in seeing a conclusion.
I feel your pain, as much as splatoon 3 is better than splatoon 2 in many ways, it feels a bit disappointing and soulless for now at least, especially with such a bad online and lack of proper balancing and satisfying content.
@@borus6123 Yeah, when I got this game I really wanted to try and max out my levels but all the disconnects, lag and what feels like the rules of the game being akin to Calvinball has really demotivated me.
as someone who doesn't give a shit about turf war, I still really enjoyed this video. I hadn't realised how insanely hard it is to get the gold flags and I do feel like there should be a cool reward for it. I also really liked the commentary in general it was very well written and delivered, I'd love to see more in a similar style of video!
Great vid, turf war flags always felt unachievable and kinda bs considering the insane luck needed to even get to the mid-high milestones. Great visuals too!
