Absolutely. A little burst of original, combined with a fan for dispersal, will get you a similar look. It's a trick Hollywood studios use to fill their large sound stages all the time. They just use bigger bursts.
@@rosco_labs right. I thought I saw that on sets indeed, small bursts and wafting. I suppose for a 10 by 10 living, with 30-60 of wafting - the haze could be made uniform? Is that realistic?
Bonjour, merci pour votre question. Notre plan actuel est de sortir DMG LION au début du printemps et d'espérer expédier les unités un mois ou deux plus tard.
Hi, this video is ok for showing general specs of these filters but holding it by hand and curving it is a nonsense, specially for a brand official demo. The only visual reference you offer is the beam pattern sheet ? From 10x20 to 10x40 the width/height ratio looks very similar so I figure we could get the same result by using Fresnel lens less spot (little bit flood) or maybe stacking a subtle diffusion (probably 1/16 or 1/8 white diffusion). Would an Opti-sculpt acts like heat shield in this case? Appart from that, the 10x60 looks like a must have! Would you offer a pack of 12"x12" asymetrical sheets so we could compare them and get average size at most affordable cost? Regards

Our apologies for the late reply. Your comment snuck past us somehow. Yes, you are correct. The Vapour Plus is designed to make the maximum amount of fog for a short amount of time, and then it turns off while it reheats. That being said, the Vapour Plus can run continuously at around 40%-50%. That particular machine's output at 40%-50% is still a lot of fog. Another option for "high continuous output" would be our Vapour: www.rosco.com/product/vapour-fog-machine It starts off making as much fog as it can, but as the heater begins to cool, it automatically ramps back its output until it establishes an output level where it can continue making high-volume fog continuously. We hope that helps.
There are many different effects the fixture can create, depending on the gobos used inside. Check out this playlist for a few examples: ru-vid.com/group/PLJXW73VY5NIdfZkNJ_ZKHd65UeNqCHwl4
Very cool effect. Would liked to have seen it used in a room, against the wall. Effect used in a real life setting. Thank you for the new product, great job. Stay safe and may God bless 🙏✝️🙏
We recommend using this fixture in darkened areas. While the area does not have to be completely dark to be effective, the fixture's output is not bright enough to compete with bright, direct sunlight. If you plan on using the fixture in areas with ambient illumination, we recommend using the HO model of X-Effects projectors.
You're right - we weren't able to show any of the effects the fixture could make in the minute we allotted ourselves. However - here is a playlist of recipe/effect videos we created: ru-vid.com/group/PLJXW73VY5NIdfZkNJ_ZKHd65UeNqCHwl4. As noted in the description of the video, the X24 was discontinued when we upgraded it to LED a few years ago. The recipe videos in the link provided were shot with the new X-Effects LED Projector. While there are a few minor differences, the LED version operates on the same principles as the original X24. Thanks for the comment!
why you call gay to promote your fixture? (( no other good light designers? or f***g tollerance? call black , one leg, one eye daltonic to make nnnn*x gender EFX
We checked the Aputure attachment when we were testing the Nanlite projector for the previous comment. Unfortunately, the rotator didn't fit into the Aputure attachment either.
@@danielrothman178 - we will pass the feedback on to our product development team, but we do not have plans to develop any gobo rotators for these lights at this time.

Thanks for the comment! We had 25 different choices in there. Some of them were more thematic like Pain, Sadness, and Wonder, while some were more stylistic like Horror, Sci-Fi, Noir, and Western. We also had some that were inspired by the style of specific filmmakers like Wes Anderson, Michael Bay, and Dario Argento, plus a few specific films like Blade Runner and Aliens.
Will this be readily available for purchase? If so, when? We have a 13' x 36' at 90* video wall setup at our space and use our friends Unreal Engine system, but this would be awesome to use when he's off making movies.

Thanks for sharing this content.. Will this withstand the floor traffic for long duration? Or will this easily peel off when people walk over it?.. request clarity. Thanks..
Thank you for your question. All of our Rosco Digital Compositing Paints feature excellent adhesion. When applied to a properly primed floor, the DigiComp paints should not peel off when people walk across it.
What is the HEX COLOR KEY for this paint? I painted my wall a year ago and have never found the correct colour setting. The internet just told me chroma green is #00b140. Is this right? Why can't I find this information on the can or product decription? IT IS CRUCIAL INFORMATION.
Thank you for your question - here are our Hex Code Values for Rosco Digital Compositing Paints. DigiComp Green: 2CD219 DigiComp Blue: 2C18B1 Chroma Key Green: 2CCA00 Chroma Key Blue: 4066B2 DISCLAIMER: The color of your painted blue/green screen may vary depending on batch differences and lighting conditions. We do not guarantee that our physical paints will match these digital Hex Code values.
Which of the tough primers is better with your Chroma Key Green Paint? The white satin finish, or the flat black? I would've thought the white initially, but I'm not sure if the satin finish of the white is an issue given how the top layer needs to be matte?
Hello Allison. Thanks for your comment. We recommend white. The satin finish of the primer doesn't really affect the matte finish of the Chroma Key paint and the extra gain (brightness of your green screen) you get from having a white underlayer is helpful. A black underlayer will diminish the brightness of your green screen somewhat.
Thanks so much for this video definitely helps tell the difference between each diffusion. Could definitely use a video visually demonstrating all your gels and diffusions
