Hi, I'm Manu and in 2022 I left my home country to live in different countries all over the world.
I know what you think "Ugh, another traveller??" but I'm not here to show you how amazing my life is and how glorious. I want to show you how it really is to live in different countries and to travel a lot, the struggles, the surprises, just day-to-day life.
If you think about leaving your home country or in general travel more, then this might be the place for you, so welcome :)

Awesome park! I did a lot of walking there when I was in BKK last year. Definitely a peaceful escape into nature away from the city for a while. I recognize Sukhumvit Road as well, I really enjoyed that area and plan to be back. New sub, look forward to following your journey here. Greetings from Alaska! 👍
Benjakitti Forest Park must come for walking or exercising during the evening to early evening. Even though it's the most beautiful Because the sun is setting A gentle cool wind began to blow through. and the lights from elevated bridges and the skylines of buildings 🤗😊🫰❤️🌅🌆🌇🌴🌳
Best place in Batam......the exit channel at the ferry terminal. Just joking (well sort of)......get over to Nongsa - got golf, monkeys, café, beach bars, good food, watersports-jet ski's, paragliding, yachts, BBQ buffets. 1)-Tiger Beach Club 2)-Nongsa Marina 3)-Turi Beach Resort 4)-Nongsa Village 5)-The Gallery Shop & Café
yeah the exit channel was fantastic haha. guess the places you recommend are better, thats always the risk when you go somewhere where you dont know anything about,,
Looks like a s***hole to me..... Boring shopping mall with mediocre food, no cosy bars or restaurants on the streets, filthy... And you stay in your hotel to watch stuff on RU-vid... Looks like hell to me!
Im from batam you actually come to wrong area some part of batam are still undeveloped. You can try to stay at sovrano hotel if you come here again and explore pasar penuin, pasar pasir putih
Batam is actually a city that is still under development and this city is more geared towards industry and services than tourism. If they want to travel, most Batam people come to the surrounding islands such as Bintan, Balai Karimun, Natuna and Anambas which have more natural attractions.
Hello, Great video ! Few questions: 1) Can I use Grab in Batam ? 2) Where can I buy a SIM Card as soon as I arrive in Batam from Singapore ? 3) Is Batam cheaper than Bali. I am confuse to decide which island I can go since I have just 3 days to go back to Singapore. Thank you so much for your help. Take care !
Hey! Yes you can use grab there, it is pretty easy. Depending on what SIM card you have from Singapore you might be able to have data roaming in Indonesia. I haven’t been to Bali yet so I don’t know about the prices, Batam wasn’t as cheap as I expected it to be.. If I were you I wouldn’t go to Batam tho. Maybe if you want to do watersports then it could be nice (that’s what I heard) but the city itself isn’t interesting or much to do.. Hope I could help you :)
Grab - best in Batam no issues, Telcomsel or XL can easy get at airport/ferry terminals, Batam & Bali completely different, it's like comparing chalk n cheese, Batam is more expensive now. Bintan or Ranoh Isl worth a trip.
the trash has got out of control........once too much they just have a burn up on the side of the roads.......I see a lot of people complaining about this to the authorities' now.
4 is pronounced and mean death to Chinese , so they mostly skip 4 and replaced it with 3A instead. You would know the building owner must be a Chinese by this. And yes, Johor Bahru is a boring city. during weekend at night, the Marrybrown area are lively with night market and people, but others not really touristy. You need car to travel in Johor Bahru, drive to coast of Desaru for beautiful beach and luxury resorts.
Ahhh that’s so helpful, thank you! I saw it in so many buildings. Yes, it is really not the most interesting city. I went during the day to the marrybrown and it looked nice but not much going on. I thought so, the coast and the nature around is probably more interesting but I didn’t had a car. Thanks for the suggestion :)
In Germany 13 is often associated with bad luck, and 666 is the number of the devil. So I guess it is normal for many countries to avoid certain numbers 😅
