damn... Trying to live together with people who where nuclear tested to bits n pieces... This is not about giving it's unlimited and unconditional debt. This island and bases were nuclear test missile launch sites and now just monitoring the entire island is suddenly a military target as well ffs
I lived on Kwajalein from 90 to 93 and worked at the Central Pacific network. I also played in a local band called rebel yell… And I used to play at the club sometimes in the dining room because I would make some pretty cool tips with people…. especially after they had a few drinks lol✌️😎
My grandfather fell on Namur; Feb 1, 1944. Pfc Edward Pretaboir, 24th Marines, 4th division, B company. From memory, I believe that's right. He hit green beach 2. I was fortunate to visit the battlefield about 20 years ago. It was a proud moment. Ya it's something to listen to you describe details of the fighting, and those Japanese firing positions on green beach 2; and everywhere else for that matter. Good video
I remember being a kid of 5/6 years old on Kwaj. Nike-Zeus and then Spaarten if I remember... Just a little kid....warm sand....the smell of the Creasote pilings... Oh ,I'd like to walk that island again! Off-limits still, but I'd do whatever paperwork is needed.... A guest home,...or a cot in the barraks, and I'd be good ;-)
Can someone, any Subject Matter Expert, that know about events that happened during WWII particularly, Kosrae Island, explain something to me. I have a question in regards to the bombing of Kosrae Island on 18 January 1944. I want to know where did the US planes come from. Please email me or leave a message here. OR direct me to where I can get the answer. Thank you.

When I moved to Kwaj they were in the middle of a drought and brought water in barges from Roi. Thank goodness it didn't take them long to finish that plant that changed salt water to reg water. Navy showers are the pits! Yes I was there looooooong ago and miss it dearly.
Oh my gosh I moved there in 2011 I think, and Art Mama was my favorite teacher!!! She gave me a pair of mermaid earrings, I miss her and hope she's doing well!!
Entertaining and Informative as always. I’ve never actually been to Kwaj before but the videos always make me think it could be cool to get sponsored on a visit someday. I’ve only ever lived on Majuro before.
Poor octopus😂... komol for helping Lib island, I read about it on the Marshall Islands journal. Truly GRATEFUL to have a leader like Col. Jeremy Bartel, keep up the GREAT work❤️🇲🇭
