In 1991/92 Destruction was a UK finalist in the DMC championships, which eventually led to taking steps into production. He is credited with production on the highly acclaimed 'Kaos' album, released on EMI in 2001 and has worked with artists that can only be described as Hip Hop Royalty (Redman, M.O.P, Capone-n-Noreaga, Pharoahe Monch, De la Soul, Guru and LL Cool J), the latter of which went platinum in the U.S and was a Billboard number 1 in its first week. The Redman single Smash Sumthin' achieved a U.K top 10 and a gold disc to boot. Destruction has since worked on remixes and produced for Canibus, Pay As You Go, Elephant Man, Adam F and Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip to name a few.
Recently (end of 2018) you can hear him feature in the White Boy Rick movie with his Hip Hop knowledge and scratch skills featured in key parts of the film.
I missed my days as a Disco DJ back in the day. I was actually mixing vinyl records as early as 1977 using old fashioned basic mixer and turntables which has no pitch control except the slider from 33 (LP) speed to a 45 (7") speed. I'm now 68 yrs old and still remember the ones that I used to play like Do It by BT Express and I Got My Mind Made Up by Instant Funk.
Sei veramente eccellente!!!
Had a great night dancing and shaking to your music.. I put a hat on and forgot who i was. I actually felt like I was on the set of solid gold lol . Thanks for all the effort you put into the channel for us
you are professionally prepared, even technically, in terms of knowledge of vinyl at the level of your compatriot Joey Negro, also a fan of 70s Black Funk
If you really want to know where house music came from he's playing it disco's mixed into one another that was how house music was started jam on brother jam on there was no such thing as a computer there was no such thing as nothing but playing one turntable and then putting a needle on the other That's how I know of it from Chicago jam on the old bmx
But dude we know u can scratch and mix. But for real play the record. I would get tiered of u playing at a club. Ur talented we all know but make a video where u play records for more than two seconds 😢
You have made this pensioner very very happy There is nowt like disco to get you dancing and that's just what I'm doing. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Tons of stories, Ive been watching your mixes on vinyl excellent I was like jive bunny back in the day very few mistakes if any. The only thing I didn't do was stack my records up on the side or marked them, every night was different. That's why I got a name everywhere I worked but now I'm disabled can't stand or twist if I could I'm positive I could still do it. So take care of your body. Keep it up, I did it for about 38 years. I've had a great life I can't complain till now 🥴
This is genuinely an excellent and truly funkadelic mix. The only way ill be able to stop tuning in is if there are more funk mixes of yours to check out 😂
