I have a 2012 Prius and the brakes locked up on my while driving…. Pretty scary that it happened on the freeway, will changing the ABS module and brake booster fix the problem?

When i was in my 20s and before key fobs, I used to lock my keys in my stick shift Toyota Trecel all the time. I became an expert breaking into it using a good ol hanger. Today, my key fob is burried in my backpack in the back seat, and before I had a chance to retrieve it, my car decided to lock me out. I suppose it couldnt get a signal from the fob. Time to call roadside assistance and let them do the dirty work😊😉

Found your video this morning after I locked mine in last night..thank youuu🙏🏽

Was checking an exhaust leak repair... Was also fitting new ball joint and drop link... Was on jack stand and wheel off in neutral...wheel spun slightly ... Wind pushed door closed...car thought i was driving ... Locked door.... Ohh and my phone was inside... Only took 8 hours , copper brake line, and a quarter tank of fuel.😅😅😂 Its a unique door design so none of these would have worked.

There's two other ways. I am an Uber driver and being mostly on my own, knew I'd have a major problem if I locked my keys in my car. Option one is you can give your spare set to a friend. They don't have to physically come to you if you've locked your keys in. Call them and ask them to push the unlock button, turn your phone on speaker, the volume all the way up, see if that unlocks the door if your car can hear it through the phone. My other tip is to take your spare key and hide it inside the side view mirror. Pull off the mirror. You should use a strong metal keyring and loop it around part of the structure that won't break easily. Then take some duct tape and cover it up so that the elements don't destroy it. Air is ok, even cold air, but not rain or snow.

Hi, I have an unusual problem. I have the 123 non functioning resistor out issue, i need to replace. But 4 was working. Now nothing works unless I press inwards physically on the dial. Then on every speed it blows as on 4. Even on 0... Im struggling to find a garage that has any idea. Im really worried as its my van/motorhome that im currently living in! Do you have any idea what the issue/fux could be? I plan to replace the résistor and filter asap but I dont think that will souvent this new issue

My issue was simile to yours, where my big plug thing that connects to the resistor had burned up wires.

i have a 2005 suburban front brakes keep dragging i let out some brake fluid at bleeder valve and it releases? the master brake cylinder is just nasty the fluid is clean from all the fluid i have been feeding it! but the seal is ripped and the inside and out is super dirty so a new one on amazon is 53 dollars, i just want new, but it has the hydraulic brake booster but i have yet to see if mine is bad? all the calipers were just old and needed replacing and the front rubber line new, but the issue is the same after a few miles they start to stick until i pull over and bleed calipers then its like new again? anyone have a idea i can work, thanks
