why hasn't anyone invented USB RAM yet? if it's possible to plug a storage medium into a laptop shouldn't it also be possible to plug in a RAM stick? I hate that RAM has to be inside the computer instead of something that can be quickly and easily upgraded in a modular way.

kind, I ran into such a problem, hp pro3500 disabled all USB ports in the BIOS, now I can’t go into the BIOS to turn them on, there are some options, resetting the BIOS through the battery did not help
so i did that and windows did not restart correctly but after windows did its think i still did not have usb option for booting. i need to boot from usb to install a new OS i have the 6460b model thanks
