72 guys well I have 625 Empire/Humans, 230 Elves & 155 Dwarves are already done though I still have more of them to paint. Having only 72 would be breeze.
I am currently working on a 20 metre long (ish) dioram of World History in miniature - I estimate I have about 3000 figures to paint - all 1/72 scale. The fun never stops!
You could use the heads as part of the landscape. I saw a comment to put them on pikes maybe a detail for a castle or palisade wall. How about a pile of heads next to a champion or monster. A wall of heads similar to body wall in the movie '300'?
God this dude is getting annoying. Sunk his whole identity into a meme game. Now hes spreading like a cancer to everything else. Why do you guys cheer for grown man children begging on the internet?
I think if Games Workshop is going to charge extortionate prices they should expect people to proxy their models using models from other companies. It's the natural result of their own actions.
Looking at other brands like victix or Perry and how many you get in a box and the price, GW is crazily expensive. On a side note Perry Miniatures is owned by the guys that sculpted the GW lotr minis.
i have roughly 10,000$ worth of space marines from GW and forgeworld that i was collecting from 2005-2009... i just kept buying them, thinking i would one day have an entire chapter (i had all the fluff and company breakdowns, and everything)... i began painting a single tactical squad which i never finished..... very sad.
I recently bought 2 mm thick magnets and they are too thick for GW’s bases to sit flat on. either your mathematics are wrong or GW has made their bases thicker, I Think I rather stick with 1 mm or maybe 1.5mm thick.
Yeah, two main reasons I have moved more to the 3d prints or other manyfactorers on minis is GW's prices and monopose minies, as I love build every model looking individual and different.
Btw, get yourself some matte medium from craft store and then some airbrush paint thinning agent. 50/50 mix of them you can create contrast style paints for slapchop painting when you mix that mix with paints or acrylic inks on wet palette.
Came here from your main channel. I can’t believe the process it takes to make prints. This is an artists dream come true. It’s crazy how much technology is improving. Would love to see more art and 3D printing!
