14:45 looks like the 16 frame move (sin smiter) was used there, which should beat his jab by a couple frames if he's at -9 from you blocking his flying kick there but I think it came out slightly delayed. Safe option in that situation would be a fast mid like df1 or high jab if got a read on him doing a move after, but otherwise it isn't a naturally punishable move since it's 1 frame out from -10
Well the algorithm yoinked me over here. Tekken king reina here. Everyone here already talks about what buttons to press, so i have a different bit of advice. Reina's win condition is to make opponents scared to press a button. At the midrange people often would try wait u out if they get hit by ff2 enough times. If they start waiting, reina basically gets to do what she wants If u play frame tight vs mashers. At blue u can start worrying about the character being countered so that's a future problem. Go one problem at a time and u will improve.
Reina is really hard imo. its kinda hard to get into her since she relies sooo much on execution and fundamentals. If you are not GOOD at both of those you will loose. I am sorry to tell you bro but you can improve at both of those. Altough imo she needs a slight buff
Dude on some real shii, your ranks these days are becoming kind of sweaty because mighty rulers werent this good now. Purple ranks know what they doing and it only gets harder going up. First thing is , you need to know is to drop certain habits. Stop throwing sht, just for throwing shit. It takes time to remind yourself to stop. 2. You're a Reina Player, much respect tsking on a character that is hard to pilot. But know your character , look atbher frames , get creative, understand the frames better, understand when you can step because at your ranks people dont really step. 3. You dont check with mids, Reina has good mids, if you always take your turn with highs, up the ranks they realize this and start exploiting it and you're not gonna have a great time. Last is watch really good reina players and try to understand why they do what they do. You could learn soo much from watching these players and trying to put yourself in their shoes. Also stop throwing 10 hit strings, rhey are extremely minus
Your right ranks is a bit sweaty and I do realize I got a long way to go with reina I got really bad habits I do with here and I gotta do some real work in the lab
heya! I don't want this to come off as condescending, but 1. you're throwing out a lot of punishable strings/moves 1,2,3,4 (I know it's fun to do lol) ends in a high and can be ducked and punished SEN 1,2 is -16, so you can get launched for it. Even just doing SEN 1 is -14 so they still get a pretty good punish out of it 2. A lot of your offensive pressure is just getting blocked because you're throwing a lot of highs (1,1 | 1,2,3,4 | b1). I think you should sprinkle in some lows like db4 and db2 to get them to duck (or at least guess), then you can start hitting them with some chunky mids like df1,2, check them with df1,1, launch them with a hopkick (uf4). If you're worried about your lows being blocked and punished (because Reina's lows are all pretty bad) you can use throws like lows to get them to start ducking. Be sure to vary which kinds of throws you're doing so you don't get predictable (if they're not breaking the throw you can just keep using it though lol) Hope that helps! Also you should definitely learn some punishes and a nice bnb combo. Here's a simple one I used to use: df2 > f2,3~f > df1 > f2,3~f > SEN1+2 > 3,4 (this wall splats from very far away). then you can run up and do a df1,1 > 1+2 wall combo, which will net you 72 damage without rage :) (one thing that's really nice about this combo is it should work with just about any launcher, even FC df4 :D. The first hit will whiff, though, don't worry) also if you're already at the wall by time SEN1+2 connects you can just do 4,2,2,1+2 at the wall (if you do a qcf before the 1+2 it'll give you the stronger blue spark version), this will net you 65 damage from round start position on most maps also more of a general tip to get better use out of your rage. you can combo into a rage art from any tornado or hard wall splat and it'll heal you by 14 health, which can be crucial in tense situations let me know if you've got any questions
@@NyxDiscordia33 no this is really helpful thanks a lot I really needed some guidance on strategies to work around only attacking high. I use her hell sweep a lot but once they block I get punished pretty bad but I’ll switch it up by adding different grabs and throwing out more mids to have them guessing but overall thanks for the advice I’ll be practicing that in the practice room for sure!
@@EyeVe_YT If they challenge your HW a lot with jabs, another low you can use is HW d4 (you can do the 3 extension if they mash and it leads to a hard knockdown on CH experiment with doing the 1+2 extension of db4, it catches people all the time lol
@@EyeVe_YT oh yeah and definitely utilise your plus frame moves WR3 is +6 so if they challenge you with literally anything you can launch them with df2 WR4 is +4 and if you hold down you go into HW. it's a high, though, so be careful. if you're being pressured super hard you can try to get out of it with a power crush, but it gets beaten by lows and punished by throws so be wary. specific advice for hwoarang: be careful approaching him, he's got really good keepout tools. his approach tools are good, too, but they're extremely linear so just sidestep and punish :) if they randomly switch stances at a distance there's a high chance they're going for backlash, it's a powercrush so look out for it his spinny punch with the built-in sidestep is unsafe escaping the blender can be a nightmare and honestly I have no idea how to deal with it. I just dickjab and watch for obvious lows and pray lol
@@EyeVe_YT phidx put out a video recently talking about reina and how she can win by just abusing her big mids, i suggest giving it a watch and try to adopt some of the ff2 flowcharts he uses. They can be beaten by good players but its a great starting point and a strategy that can even be effective in high blue ranks if they opponent does not respect it.
It’s a good message. I understand your video as well. My only comment as a good bowler with a high of 197 after my 8th time bowling and never bowled again. Is that I see you using the 8ib ball lol. That’s too easy man that’s like playing against kids lol
In all seriousness Gintama is first and foremost a slice of life comedy and if that’s not your thing don’t watch it. Also as a huge gintama fan I don’t really think it gets funny until around episode 15 so it’s up to you if you want to continue it
