The heart of old Singapore is basically what is now called the Central Business District, and runs along the river. Singapore has always been a port town. As the development of the island expanded, the government built new "cities" called Queenstown and Toa Payoh, which were kind of suburbs. Later, they actually built 3 more, Woodlands, Bulim, and Yio Chu Kang which were separated from Singapore City by agricultural area. Because of this, people used to call them separate cities, or towns, although current Singapore residents will recognize them as simply stations on the Metropolitan Railway system.
Hi, thanks for watching this video. I haven’t seen the exchange rate in Airport Hanoi this day. But almost cases the rates in airport are more expensive than in the city. Maybe next time I’ll compare with airport and city.
