OK, different here as the yellow fin whiting are 24cm with 20 bag limit, silver whiting (School whiting) have no size limit. & King George are 32cm min with a bag per person is 10.
@@blokeonaboat7305 ok thank you for the explanation & details. After i first video i saw of your’s i was intrigued by how it was done. I went searching but couldn’t find an explanation on how to do it successfully. It pays to look after your catch properly, especially when you get on to some beauties. 👍
Good video mate 👍 The weather was great that day and it was good to see you out there on our way in. We caught a few whiting and a nice 7 gill that day.
im surprised u dont eat leatherjacket. i grew up fishing westernport with my grandfather looking for whiting. we always got leatherjacket and found them great eating with big bones so less of a choking hazard - regards markc

Hi, was wondering what type and size boat you have, looks quite easily manageable and comfy for a single person fishing on their own, keep up the videos, enjoying watching them
nice quick sesion there, we must have just missed you, or we were back from you, fog was thick, we did very well to ,this week is out winds are horriable , tight lines :)
Such a nice encounter with the Dolphin, always good to see. I was thinking of also heading out on that day but last minute decided to have a sleep in. I recognised John's voice who you helped out with the net, well done! Terry
Good effort on a dodge! And some special footage of those dolphins that's for sure. That last marker where you were fishing for whiting, do they call that marker the black pole or bastard pole?
Speical thanks to Greg for helping to retrive my expensive fish keeping bag i droped over the side , thanks mate that was aswsome to help out, guys please subcribe to the channel , Greg is really a nice bloke and puts up good local content we watch all the time ,so thanks BOAB for helping and sharing another great vid cheers :) hope to catch you up again some time soon :)
Do you use burley while fishing for whiting? Could be worth having a second rod out with circle hooks especially when your landing double headers, Just a suggestion. Enjoy your videos mate
Hi, no I don't use burley for whiting also as there are so many undersize fish, a 2nd rod is more of a nuisance but do use one if the conditions are right. Thanks for watching.
@@blokeonaboat7305 Thanks for the response, hopefully I'll be on the water later this week out from North Haven chasing King George whiting too. Keep up the awesome informative videos
@@blokeonaboat7305 Bagged out on King George Whiting out from North Haven a couple of weeks back with a mate. Good to see the Whiting around in good numbers locally.
Nice to see you putting the smaller ones back, even though they were legal size. We need a bit more of... just take what we need and of a reasonable size, instead of taking everything. Cheers and thanks again for a good video. 👍
