My friend really wants to play this game, she is blind, like myself, but we weren’t sure which Madden game finally allowed us to see the playbook. If there is one, please let me know. ok, couple questions. 1, how to access the public beta if it’s on PC, 2, how long is it gonna be around for? I get home to some good wifi in about 3 more days.
So first you have to connect either your Xbox PC account to your battle.net account by going to battle.net and it’ll be under connections where you’ll be able to find Microsoft and add in your information there that will allow you to use your Game Pass subscription Diablo four to play, if you already own the game Through battle.net then you just go to your battle.net client and go to Diablo and then change the game from Diablo to public test realm. After that, you just login like regular then you go to your options when the game starts and turn on the accessibility features. The options list is extensive just make sure that you enable the screen reader when you first start the game up and everything else is a breeze. There’s an actual pop-up about the screen reader so you just make sure that you leave it on.
Try looking in your Xbox app for the text to speech option or if you own an Xbox console go into your accessibility on there and turn off let games read to me. This will turn off the voice that you’re hearing when you start up the game. Funny thing is this option will work whether you play on PC or Xbox since it’s all working in tandem. The easiest way to do it is just to go onto your Xbox. Go into accessibility and text to speech and turn off games read to me. This will even turn off the voice when you’re playing the game on PC.
Why don't you adjust JAWS volume and speech rate within JAWS itself, rather than in Windows master settings. Also, thank you so much for slowing down the speech rate. I hope you keep this rate in future Harthstone playthroughs; now I can follow the game. 6:53
I don't know how well it would work directly with RU-vid, but the channel Minnevolved uses a program called SpeechChat when streaming on Twitch. And she also uses OBS. Restream also has a chat-reading function. And the other potential option you could look into would be StreamLabs; don't know if it ha 10:45 s chat-reading functionality though.
I've heard the screen reader on another video and honestly, i'm not impressed. I'm very impressed with the accessibility for the blind over all, I just wish the screen reader didn't sound like it came from the 70s/80s.
Thank you for uploading this playthrough! I am sighted, but I have other disabilities, so accessibility for disabled people is important to me and it's really cool to see these accessibility features in action. I'm glad you were able to experience the TLOU games, this is my favorite game of all time. I hope this level of accessibility becomes the standard for video games. Gonna watch the rest of this playthrough now 🙂
This is a game changer!!! Literally. It would be cool if they give us some kind of sound queue that lets us know when we can do our fatal blow or when our health is low. Don’t know if they’re adding the crypt to this one, but it would be fire if they made it accessible for us to navigate around Like the last of us part two 25:27 25:42

Hello my friend. Im finally able to play the game with the narator. But i tried the escape and horde mode. I really dont understand how to play the game. I press l1 , r1 , l2 , r2 , a , b , x and y and i cannot do anything in the game. Its like im the only one to not have weapons. The only thing i can notice is the controlller is rumbling when pressing r2 , but it do not shoot any bullets. And im not able to draw any weapon. Im very confused. And i enabled the beep sounds in the accessibility options but i never hear that beep sound like i hear in your video. If you have some tips to get me started that would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.
Yes , i do agree. Im more on diablo , gears 5 , tekken and last of us type of games. I need some real good action based games. But of course the accessibility side is incredible. But we do need more action based games. I think elite sniper 5 could be the most interresting title of that accessibility game showcase. But does blind players will be able to play. I wish.
Hello there. This game sound good . So i purchased it. And a sighted person turned on the text to speech function in the accessibility menu. But nothing is spoken . Can you tell me if you installed a special driver for making it work with the text to speech ? Thank you.
Oh ok , im playing it on my computer. And apparently there is only text to speech on or off. And when its turned on it do not speak anything , and i tried jaws and nvda and no luck. I wonder if its a xbox exclusive feature.
No it’s not because I play on my PC. I actually never play on Xbox. The video that I made is on PC. make sure you have the Xbox app download it on your PC and then you should be able to go to settings and then into ease of access just like on your consul.
I will need some to get use to that xbox thing. The only xbox console i ever own is that first xbox in the early 2000s lol. So i dont have any xbox account and i dont have that xbox software. So i have some learning stuff coming out . Ill try to find that xbox software. I will probably find it on google by typing xbox software download. Then ill look for creating an account. Then i dont know how i will link my game to that xbox software. Because my gear 5 is installed as a stand alone game.
Does Gears 5 contain some additional accessibility features? Haven't played for a long time, but they were testing some kind of navigational guidance sound where to go. Dont remember in which game mode it was, but was in the accessibility hub on Xbox.
Can we blind person get all cards and journals on the game? Because I am having a travel getting all those. I am using L1, R1 And circle at the same time to locate all cards and journals etc ..
