I love Motorcycles, join me on my journey, as a new rider learning how to be a capable rider, exploring bike tech and gadgets and having some epic rides.
I have a suite of Insta360 cameras to help capture, rides, modifications and tech we check out. So, come along for the ride!
Hello mate! I have an HJC i90, but that Bluetooth module costs more than the helmet! It seems like cool system, but I assume the cost is reflected upon the specific design by HJC. I'm simply looking for a solution to record the audio from a Bluetooth communication device where two or more riders can communicate. You know what I mean, those Bluetooth things that clip or stick on a helmet with the mesh network deal. Very slick, but how to capture the audio is what's important for me since I have a MotoVlog channel.
Hi mate, I reckon you will want to look at the,Smart HJC 20B to fit the i91, it will allow multiple riders to talk, I think you can link it to an insta360 camera to get the audio, but not sure if you can capture all riders. Will be expensive though mate!
You need to make sure you buy and install the exhaust gaskets where they join the stock pipes. Look at my shorts and you will see which gaskets to buy mate
@FRL-m2f there are two versions of this exhaust but it you search only for those compatible with the super meteor 650 you will be on the money mate 😊🤙
Thank you. I was worried about the windshield & pipes but you use it on everything. Just purchased a bottle to use with my microfiber. You're right. It's therapeutic. You habe a beautiful bike. Meguiar's should send you some $.
Thanks so much for letting me know, the waterless wash and wax is really very good, I love the smell of it too. Ride safe mate, and I hope you enjoy your therapy 😀🤙
I have a silly question, when you’re using the mic, to get the sound of the exhaust system why are ya holding the mic above one muffler? Shouldn’t ya be holding the mic just behind the rear wheel to pickup a true sound effect of the twin exhaust system? Or two mics one behind each muffler. The sound you recorded seems to be choked and muffled so much it’s robbing the engine and can’t breathe with the new system didn’t hear much of a difference. Guess where you live the government won’t allow you much. All that EPA crap that wont change things in a million years , it’s all government theory no facts to back it up. Sorry for you.. the government would rather have us riding mules.
Hey Dean, thanks for the comment mate. As you can no doubt tell, I am not a professional cinematographer or sound engineer. There are probably a million ways I could have done it, I only have one mic, so I thought I if I held it behind the pipe it would pick up the sound. Let me assure you the actual sound of the pipes is great and the bike breathes very well. I have another video pure engine noise where you can hear the pipes from the mic positioned at the rear and centre of both pipes. Thanks for the comment and getting involved, I will try to do better in future 👍🏻 😀
Thanks for reaching out mate, sorry I am not sure of the certifications they hold, probably better to reach out to them directly for that info. Again thanks for getting envolved mate 👍🏻
Thanks bud, glad you enjoyed the video, I got the stickers from a UK seller on Ebay. Sorry I am not sure which one specifically now, but an eBay search will get you there! Keep watching for more bud 😊🙏🇦🇺
These are amazing bikes, so much fun to ride. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine! Thanks for commenting and getting involved my friend! 😊👍🏻🙏
@@deepankar0987 I had booked mine in the first week of July as well. The date of delivery is being pushed back every other day on the RE app. The showroom seems least bothered as they keep promising to update me as soon as possible without actually following up. They were offering me an interstellar green bike that had been in the warehouse since May but I refused . Wanted a newer bike for myself . What colour did you book ?
@@prateeksingh3593 interstellar green is the bestselling colour and have booked the same. Neither RE nor dealer bother about delivery. Tried contacting RE customer care over email, they have no answer for date. Just said wait till 1st week of October.
Thanks so much for the comment mate. The panniers are great, and I really like the helmet too, it is an SMK Gullwing modular helmet, it is very well priced and really comfortable 😊
Awesome video! I am looking for something similar but don't want the hitch / pannier frame it to interfere with a pillion on the back. Have you tried taking a pillion since attaching the panniers?
Hi mate, thanks for watching and commenting. I have taken a pillion and it was absolutely fine, they are a really good system. Thanks for getting envolved mate😊
Hi mate, thanks for watching and commenting. I have taken a pillion and it was absolutely fine, they are a really good system. Thanks for getting envolved mate 😊
Hey buddy. Just wanted to extend an offering that I figured out for myself. I have the same screen and set up as yourself. What I managed to do was raise the height of the windshield up by undoing the headlight and indicator mount to the forks, slowly working it up and then tightening it. This results with the 2 pieces of grey metal sitting flush with eachother. I did need to readjust my headlamp back down but it did a lot to decrease the wind blast right into my helmet. I still had some slack in the cables so no stress on cable stretch. I'm 5ft11" and I still think I will look at this extension you have suggested. But for anyone shorter than that maybe it will do just the trick. Hope you find this useful. Your videos have been on point and have directly influenced how I am going about my build on the beloved SM 650. Cheers from Bobby in VIC.
Cheers Bobby, I really appreciate you getting envolved mate! Great information too, thanks for sharing. I am so happy to hear that my videos are helping you with your bike upgrades! Keep watching and keep enjoying your RE SM 650! 😀🙏🇦🇺😊
hello, the original mirror mount are m10 or m8? also, are they both clockwise or are they clockwise and counterclockwise? im asking because im buying a piece of accessory to put on the spot after installing the bar end mirrors.
I am so sorry my friend, I don't know what gage the thread is but from memory one is standard thread, the other is reversed, probably best to check the owners manual to be sure! Again wish I could have helped more 🙏😊
Do you think these with DB killers fitted are a good upgrade over the stock exhaust? Or is the change not as noticable without removing the DB killers?
I 5hink they are still worth it, the note with the dB killers is still nice better the stock, but I prefer the note without the dB killers. Thanks for the question my friend, ride safe, and sub like share to be kept up to date with any future videos 🇦🇺🙏☺️
Thanks so much for asking mate, I appreciate your comment but I am sorry to say I really don't know. I am quite happy with the front tyre the way it is, sorry I can't help more!
I use insta360 cameras and pair them with the action gps remote which captures the geo spatial data, then in the insta360 app you can add the overlays, it is a really cool feature. There are links to the equipment in the video description below to click on if you would like to look at the gear on Amazon and if you purchase anything through them I will get a very small percentage to help the channel which is at no cost to you at all. Thanks for watching and engaging mate, hope you enjoy my future video too 😎👍🏻
Hello! Thank's for your videos really interisting. I'put a DNA filter on my super meteor, and I wait for Rhino Racing Exhaust on your advice. What do you think about booster, and his efficiency? Have a fine day.
I think you will live it! I think the power boost from the DNA and the exhaust together is more than 20%. It really makes to bike come to life, so much fun to ride. Thanks for watching and getting envolved my friend, and enjoy the SM650. Stay tuned 😎
@@Motocapers hello buddy! One question: you said + 20% power only with sportive filter and rhino racing?? And what happen if you upgrade the electronic board ?
@aquilottoaquilotto8735 hi mate, to be honest, I haven't tried to upgrade the board, but I guess it would work! For me, the new filter and the exhaust made a big difference and made the bike come to life! Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂
Yes mate, i have the DNA High performance air filter fitted and a Rhino Racing exhaust. Thanks for getting envolved and be sure to share, like and subscribe 😊👍🏻 Follow this link to the video of the filter install 😊 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-g2WYPo_cab8.html
@Moto Capers , Nice video sir here need to put one point as procedure said that after installing DNA filter start bike and let it on idle condition for at least 10 to 15 min instead raving the engine immediately. Let ECU settle down and understand the Air flow, later enjoy the ride
I found that my Shark helmet would rock side to side when I was riding at highway speeds. I changed the helmet brand to a Shoei and the rocking that I was experiencing with the Shark helmet disappeared. The Shoei was also much quieter. What I'm getting at is, it's not always the screen.
Yeah I agree mate, it can be far more than the screen, I have two helmets, neither of them rock very much if at all, but I was getting quite a lot of wind noise and vibration and since adding this extension I have noticed a big drop in the turbulence induced noise and vibration, so it is a pretty decent low-cost fix, if people are interested! Thanks for commenting and getting involved, I really appreciate it mate!
Hi, Me and my wife bought a simular extension from Alie Express for only 9 Euro ps for our RE SM650. They work like a Sharm. It realy stops the wind buffeting and the wind noice in our helmets. Great video. Keep up the good work. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Nice video. I choose to go naked, because I prefer the naked look. You forgot to chop off the end of your video. You can do this now with editor. Needs to be done soon, else the algorithm will think people stop watching early, and will promote your video less. 🙏
In order to assist the deflection of air, wouldn't it make more sense for the aditional extension to be fitted behind, instead of in front of the touring screen?
I am not sure mate, I see what you are getting at, but it is designed to be fitted in front of the existing screen! Thanks so much for watching and getting involved, I really appreciate it! Ride well and stay tuned mate!
I've thought about a deflector. However, I think it takes away the look of the bike. Maybe if I did long road trips, it would be handy, but for the riding I do, l'm good with it as long as the wind is off my chest. Looks quite straightforward to install. Good one. Ride well. Cheers
I hear you Moz, I think I will keep it off the bike 90% of the time, but thought I would give it a try to see if it makes a difference on the higher speeds, cheers for watching and for getting envolved mate 😊🇦🇺👍🏻
Can you please share the link and let me know which parts to buy exactly for this set up… i just got the bike on last sunday and your videos are real informative. Love from India❤
amzn.to/3J5NYkv amzn.to/3J8GY6M These links will get you the exact setup my friend. Please like and subscribe and head to my channel for the full install process!
Those SH36 paniers from Shad are perfect on the meteor! The top box is what size/capacity? It appears to have reflective tape on the panier, is this correct? Whats the cost? Im looking to get the "touring" accessories on the bike. Hope to hear from you soon. Im in the U.S. 🇺🇸🦅🤓👍🐻🧸🏍️
Thanks for watching mate, I love these too. I only have the SH36 Side panniers but the shad range of top boxes is huge. Both with these panniers I have 72 liters of storage space which is awesome for short trips. The mounts were AU$269 and the SH36 Pair was AU$679, so not cheap but well worth it for my money! I would be really interested to hear what you have or what you would like to get. And they have a built in reflector which is good. Wishing you Safe rides from Australia mate 🇦🇺🇦🇺😊👍🏻
@robverheij561 I did watch the video, thanks for the reply mate, and if you look at the other man's video, he also has the mirrors on the wrong sides, thanks for engaging, and I hope you liked the video maybe check out some of my other videos. Have a great day!😊👍🏻 In all seriousness, i actually followed the written directions that came with the mirrors to the letter mate, so the install was done correctly, thanks for getting envolved and have a cracking day!
@@Motocapers, Then sorry for my response, I have just received the mirrors and have not yet looked at the manual, again apologies for my response. Greetings from Rob.🙏🙏🙏
