This RU-vid channel is dedicated in documenting wild life and nature in the Midwest specifically in the state of Illinois and nearby states of the US. The aim is to give you a front row seat to see what's happening inside and outside of the nest boxes.

This is a wonderful video from the point of learning and sharing, but... Only human could cut a tree to build a bird house. Fact. Also, I don't think bird feels safe when you open the box.
I'm pretty sure one of these guys is responsible for filling my humming bird house full of sticks. They're just shoved in there all haphazardly with no best crevice at all.
House wrens are not native east of the Rocky Mountains. They’ve been transplanted here from the west coast. They are invasive demons with wings that wreak havoc on nesting migratory songbirds. They will attack and pick the eyes out of a nesting mother bluebird and puncture all her eggs. Do not feed or attract house wrens. Human intervention destroys nature, it takes human intervention to restore nature.
