Back in 2022, i backed Eyelights on their kickstarter and splashed out i think it was the equivilent of £850 excluding import fees and wasnt all that impressed by it, the cable between the eyepiece and the puc was short and was hardwired into the puc, the battery only lasted about 1 hour 30 minutes, the third party remote control required some sketchy app caled captain rider on my phone for it to work properly. i get it was in kickstarter at that time but from what i can see it hasnt changed all that much so personally id say save your money.
I’d start to learn how to ride a motorcycle and eventually buy one JUST for these helmets. Is it possible? Can a 40 year old man learn if I’ve never ridden a motorcycle before? Legit asking if I should
A rain jacket with membrane backing & fully taped seams should do the jobs of most situations. I am selling proper rain jacket at Amazon and find people really like the cheap rain jackets. Those cheap rain jacket only have thin coating & without any seam taped outsell a lot than mine. They will be 100% leak even in light rains, but they could sell 10,000pcs per month! Seems the customers don't care or they don't know ? How could the jacket protect you in the rain if no seam taped! Many people consider DWR as waterproof, and don't know DWR will be faded and washed off!
The LS2 helmets are not bad and a very good price point. I had the LS2 storm, which looks a bit like this LS2 helmet, but wasnt a smart helmet. I paid something like £80 for it direct from LS2
@@jamesg3685 Way quieter than a 3 quarter helmet thats for sure :) It comes with the chin curtain, which helps stop a lot of noise, plus i have a headset for it now, so i just play music. i hardly head any wind noise now :)
Literally the very first jacket and as you talk about it you are showing pictures of a half a dozen different jackets from different manufacturers. This video is a lesson in what not to do when making a review video.
