He was also doing more movies when he got his teeth fixed. Unrelated, but a funny Bowie moment is when he played Hurt with Nine Inch Nails. There's a point we're they're backstage and he notices the keyboard player looks like Brad Pitt's twin.
Gutted I'll never get to see this again. I was 11 when I saw it so I don't remember much. Before they took down their torrents I always hoped to see it pop up on UK Nova
Imagine how Michaela Saunders would close down BBC2 at that particular time (4:25am going into 4:26am)... Michaela Saunders: "My! What a very long night we've had and just look how late we got on BBC2! Thanks for being with us, and don't forget BBC Radio is still on-the-air throughout the night to keep you company. BBC2's back on the air in just under 65 minutes, but from all of us on BBC2, this is Michaela Saunders saying enjoy the trade test transmission, and see you tomorrow. Bye for now."
Amazing how abstract memories are locked away. As soon as I saw that penguin collide into the ice, I was transported back to being six years old. I distinctly remember seeing that one second clip as if it were yesterday. Mad.
Takes me straight back to my childhood, with my Dad watching The Money Programme in the 1980s and eating his supper, the remainders of the leftover cold roast lamb chunks, with toast, Colman’s English mustard, onion, and black pepper. I also love and collect old computer books, because they remind of this time as well. Great theme tune to this programme, also always takes me straight back to my childhood/teens, with my Dad watching this programme, he was obsessed with money, he always watched The Money Programme.
