47:56 ZZ Top are a fantastic group to see perform! I got to see them a few years ago, a long with a few other popular groups, but ZZ Top definitely stole the whole show. ❤❤❤
Hey hun, 1st reaction I've seen and instantly had to subscribe ❤, love your patience with Jenny and just taken in the layers upon layers of life lessons from this film. It has def helped me thru so much in my life as it relates to Jenny's most. A couple future requests The green mile The gran torino Thankfor everything too wong foo The sixth sense The others A walk to remember The longkiss goodnight Encanto Very excited and looking forward to seeing all your reactions. ❤❤❤
Thank you. What a WONDERFUL reaction. New subscriber here. You got the movie perfectly. It was definitely a tear jerker. Will you PLEASE watch Bridges of Madison County?????
Thank you for joining the community and an even bigger thank you for the kind words. I have been compiling recommendations and personal interests I want to watch and this is the first one for Bridges of Madison County. I shall add it! 🤓
My favorite thing was about Lt. Dan finally making peace with God. So much so, that he was engaged to a Vietnamese woman after going through the Vietnam War. Just shows that he doesn't hold it against that country or race and really has no hate for them.
You know….i had mentioned that but cut it out of the edit because i was not sure if she was Vietnamese and I didn’t wanna look like an ass if she wasn’t but I 100% agree. His turn around was absolutely amazing. I loved his character as a crazed war LT, and also even more when he realized he had been given a second chance
My Favorite film since seeing in Theater opening night . I bawl my eyes out each time I see without fail. Tom has been my fav actor since we voted Bosom Buddies best TV show in my 8th grade yearbook In 1982. He started in it! Check out Big next …
It’s easy to judge someone who is making bad decisions if you don’t know how their mind operates. I’ve dealt with trauma at a young age and it can alter the thought process and decision making. I like to look at the situation unbiased and try to understand why instead of just labeling
@@JJreactsTV exactly. Many reactors paint her as the villain but I don’t see it at all. Once I saw a comment that said the movie was actually about Jenny. That Forest didn’t have a character arc at all, that he remained exactly the same from childhood-fatherhood, his journey was entertaining but he was like part of the setting… whereas Jenny was going through a journey. I kinda like that perspective. You are a great reactor, there are lots of movies I would recommend.. the Green Mile, Man on fire, the Count of Monte Cristo… I will keep listing them. As I mentioned before, you would like Ted Lasso, but being an Apple TV platform is a bit harder to watch.
Wonderful Review & Reaction. This film is Unique, fascinating, sometimes funny, fascinating and ultimately -- one of the greats! Recommendation for another great movie from this time: "Field of Dreams"
As a side note (or a bit of trivia if no one's mentioned it before) The Vietnam scenes were shot on the same property as the house... just across the pond.
I think you maybe missed that when Jenny was in the car with the other guy she said: "you're hurting me", maybe cuz she was a virgin or he was to rough but Forest interpreted that wrong and beat his ass 😅
According to my mood this is either my first or second favorite movie. I'm from a place in Alabama not far from where Bubba is from. My best friend's Granddad knew the guy that wrote the book and there's a few stories about how he came up with the ideas. My dad was also a history teacher so this hits me on a lot of levels
Glad you enjoyed it, & don't get me wrong I love this movie but it always bothers me when they rent the room & the Manager says "It has one window facing a brick wall", we rented it too a blind man. They take it! & Literally the next scene, Eddie is standing on the fire escape outside one window Arsenio looking out another & both look out over the street with a city view.
31:14 -- The more you know about the Black Panthers at that time, the less surprising their reaction is. Start by looking into the murder of Betty Van Patter.
The whole thing with James Earl Jones wearing the lion when he went to NYC is hilarious knowing that 6 years later he’d voice Simba’s father Mufasa in “The Lion King”.
Enjoyed this reaction immensely. Fantastic writing and Hanks was great. As always. Just saw that you've recently watched Fargo. I saved it for tomorrow. I freaking love that movie. Coen Brothers are great. You should ck out The Big Lebowski.😆 And I'll second the guy who suggested Hacksaw Ridge. It's freaking awesome. Gibson can make a movie. And the cast is unbelievable.
These peeps that trip out when you haven't seen a certain movie aren't aware how huge filmdom is. I trip out when I see those type comments fr. I've watched movies since childhood in the 70s. And I've still not seen prob hundreds.
I've seen quite a few reactions to this (and I did see this in a movie theater when it came out) and I'd say yours is one of the best I've encountered. You got it. You recognized the historic events and understood what was happening with the characters. I like how you make eye contact through the camera 🙂. We are often dropping quotes from this---my husband will tell me that I'm his girl with Forrest's accent--and so many others. I'm going to have to check out more of your reactions because this was so well done plus....you say Jeeze Louise!
Thank you so much! I love hearing the connections the community has to movie. Movies are so much more than just entertainment. Thank you also for all the kind words. To be honest I like to pretend I’m watching with friends and that’s where the eye contact comes in. It’s just like chatting and watching flicks on the couch 🤓
I just discovered your channel. It looks like it’s relatively new. But I subscribed because absolutely loved your reaction. You’re definitely a natural. Looking forward to what the future has to offer you.
1. Tom Hanks can play a disagreeable character after all. He's the GOAT. 2. Lori Petty/Kit character is a brat, but she could get it. 😍😝😈 3. Debra Winger was originally going to plat Dottie but backed out when Madonna was cast. 4. Fun fact: Not even Tom Hanks knew when he was going to be done "peeing." Penny Marshall was in a stall with a hose and a bucket making the noise. 5. The death notice delivery guy was all levels of wrong. 🤬 6. Luckiest kid in the world because I'm not there to kill him. 7. I suspect Dottie dropped the ball on purpose, so Kit could have her time to shine. 8. Thank you, Penny Marshall,
Thank you for your kind patience with Jenny. I read what you said about wondering if she just got together with Forrest so he would take care of their son, but her saying "I love you," right before she died was genuine and seemed to come from her heart. I believe she had always loved him. Her "Run, Forrest, Run" - her "You don't know what love is," - all of those times she admonished Forrest, were her speaking into a mirror about herself. After watching this movie innumerable times, I find my thoughts about feathers and birds to be the most striking. The feather at the beginning fell where Jenny lived... and flew away where Jenny landed forever. Right as Forrest is walking away from their tree after he was talking to her in her grave, a flock of birds flies to the tree, chirping and singing. Jenny had flown away from a life of pain and sadness, was safe, and was finally, home. Oh, and new subscriber. You have a tender heart. Thank you for that.
Just found your channel on my way to bed and now i am in binge mode of your videoes, plus a new sub to ur channel. I ❤ that you didnt hate on jenny as virtually every channel does and their reaction determines my subscription or not. Thanks for being on the understanding side of things. ❤ your channel.
Those were table top hockey games...they had a bar version much bigger with a glass bubble...that was cardboard with grooves cut into it....straight grooves for centre and wings and an S for the 2 defense...you could get the puck behind the net and jam it with your palm and blast it forward....I just looked for one they might not make them anymore
Another good James eat jones is field of dreams. Definitely recommend checking it out if you never have before. Be prepared though, lol. Being lots of tissues. It’s the movie known to take down grown men, lol.
I remember watching this on TV as it happened. It was one of the most exciting games I have ever watched. We were all jumping up and down when they won!! Will never forget it! I heard the the amazing speech that Herb Brooks gave the players in the locker room was word for word from the real Herb.
