Thank you 🙏. Yes I almost always shoot handhelds, on a lens with longer vocal length it's quite noticeable. In this video I mostly shoot in HFR and tried to be as steady as possible but it's still shaky.
Love the look here. The colors look great. Great work, my man. I love contrast and popping colors. Some like the colors more muted. I think personally that the popping colors give me the feeling of life and vigor, and also gives more depth.
Nice vid. How do you color correct your footage, wth a Color Space Transform? You should try and stay on the native ISO. I notice you were at 200. Try the same shots at 400 which is 0db and compare them. Keep up the good work.
Thank you 🙏. Yes I use CST all the time, now together with film look creator. Most of the time I tried to stay at the native ISO or close, in this video I didn't bring any ND filters so it was quite too bright.
@JesseEdgar Thank you 🙏, I had to stabilise some footage so it gets cropped. So I shot another video for next monday in nature to show the swirly bokeh.
Hey, I noticed you get Davinci Resolve Studio for free with your Blackmagic product purchase. Since you already have it, could you please share it with me?
If you speak crappy English it means that you speak natively some other language already, so power to you!! Great little gem of s camera as well! I have the OG micro cinema and I'm tempted about this one.
Thank you Mr. Roger! I've seen some of your videos, great work. Do you still have the Zcam ? I was really interested in one of those but couldn't afford it. The Micro G2 has one very annoying down side that is no playback. And yes my native tongue is Indonesian and Javanese.
@@horizontalmedia hi there! Wow, you called me "Mister" 😅, feeling old now. So, I sold the Zcam S6 (too good and too expensive to collect dust) but I still have the E2c (I'd get do little in return that I rather keep it). Keep up the good work, and so cool that you've seen my videos! 🙏🏼😊
@RogerinFinland apologies 🙏, I didn't mean that. I've seen quite a few actually, found your channel when I was searching for Zcam. Thanks again, I still need to learn a lot.
I've been thinking of getting the smallrig mini V-mount battery for some time now and the mini matte box, but couldn't decide between the Smallrig and Tilta.
@@horizontalmedia don't get tilta if you have lenses with an 82mm ring. ND filters don't fit beyond 72mm ring, so it's best to get the smallrig or Neewer, which are way cheaper and looks just as good as the tilta. I switched from tilta matte box to neewer which was only half the price of tilta
@@horizontalmedia for sure! And you can for sure get the tilta one cuz it is the smallest of the bunch. Just make sure it works with all your lenses and filters! Keep the receipt hahaha
Very nice. I just bought myself a Canon FTb + 35mm S.C, 50mm S.C and 100-200mm FD lenses on a garage sale for a nice deal. Im just testing it out and cant wait for the may flower season. I'd love to se more of your work. Chears form Oslo.
Thank you, much appreciated 🙏. Much of my videos are shot with Canon FDs both 24mm and 35mm, also 100-200mm. Currently thinking of getting M42 mount lens like Takumar and the famous Helios.
I think this is a great start to the box version of the 6k. I believe the next iteration will be updated with internal ND’s and higher frame rates…or ..just hear me out. They may have a new Ursa mini in a box shape with internal ND’s 8k, and at least 15 stops of dynamic range
Thanks for making this, I have a studio G2 on the way to me right now and I was wondering how the Davinci Resolve editing was going to work out. Not many videos on it. Also got a VideoAssist monitor and a cage. Did it come with any type of kit lens or will I have to buy an MFT lens before I’m able to use it?
Thank you 🙏. If you shoot BRAW then it will be just at home in Resolve, video assist is a great addition for it as the camera doesn't have playback as for the lens it depends on what are you buying is it body only or with kit, usually it's just body only.
It performed exceptionally well despite the limitations. Battery last a bit longer than the Pocket camera but not long enough, definitely worth getting V-mount. I use the micro G2 as main camera replacing the Pocket 4K and the old GH4 as B Cam.
Sweeeet rig! Thanks for sharing your setup. Also, your English is totally good. Stoked to see more videos and sample footage from this camera in action.
I would love to make a comprehensive control testing but I'm not a professional nor have enough equipment and mostly time is not on my side, also I'm not experienced enough to do those kind of test. But thanks for the suggestion ! 🙏
Great video! Thanks for showing us your rig piece by piece, it's highly appreciated. Can you shoot something "cinematic" and show us the footage. I'd love to see the image quality of this cam graded in a cine context... Thank you! 😊
I'm glad someone appreciates my efforts 😊🙏. Yes I have shot in 2 different scenarios indoors and outdoors the "cinematic" video will come next week monday, and planning to test the low light performance soon to so more video is on the way
Cool video man, i was interested in vintage lenses and recently bought a Canon FD 50mm F1.8 and it's great, so i decided to go for it and take other FD lense. Tomorrow i'll get the 24mm F2.8 and the FD 100-300mm f5.6 plus an adapter 2x so i can push to 200-600mm with F8 or 11 i'll find out. Great video, like your style
Thanks a lot man ! Yeah man go for it, they're really great lens both the image and build quality. I own the 24mm f2.8 really great lens, I also own the 35mm f3.5 and 100-300 f5.6 . 35mm is my favourite so far it's not too wide nor tight.
