I ordered this shirt and it had “ if I can shoot rabbits, then I can shoot fascists” on the back. I paid 60£ all in to get it to my country. I was suspended from school but only after being held in detention until my parents were called out of work to take me home. Here Millennials and Gen Z are because they tolerated this and we were next.
In a moment of weakness and stupidity I sold my excellent condition, all original 1965 AC-30 Treble model a few years ago when someone offered me what I thought was a crazy high price for it, and have regretted that move ever since. It was the most inspiring amp I have ever owned in over fifty years of playing {but a 1958 Fender Deluxe I had came close}. Sold it too. Somebody slap me.
Did your pack turn itself off automatically? Because mine does that but it shuts off quite after 2 minutes the wand is on but when its off it looks like the power last about 4 mins
Wonder how come Al Jardine smacked on his dark sunglasses at nite! Also was this actually done on some beach or a studio to make it look like one! Interestingly, the only active surfer was Dennis Wilson! And we were seeing only Bruce Johnson, Al Jardine, Brian Wilson, n Carl Wilson! , but missing Dennis ! ,cuz he had passed, I'm guessing! That's why I was asking what year this clip was recorded!!

It's fun to hear but not a fair comparison. To really hear the difference between the two you'd have to play a Red Special into a Deacy amp replica and then also through a Vox VBM-1 (ideally with the KAT Deacy voiced speaker replacement). It'll help if it's the same guitar player. You can't compare someone else playing it now on this Vox vs. Brian May himself playing it in the mid-70s through the Deacy amp (not to mention the mics, console, studio and anything on the mix such as EQ or compression). Of COURSE his is going to sound more authentic. The only way to compare to the original track would be if you got Brian May himself to play the same guitar into the Vox VBM-1 at Rockfield studios (or wherever they recorded the guitar) with the same mic, console and processing. So... easier to just do the first one. ;)

Was there on Friday. It was a brilliant experience and the Q&A was fun but I'm not sure I learned very much. Disappointed that they didn't take audience questions.
Scared to dance, not afraid to slam to that record. It is a pure headcrusher from start to finish rivaling a lot of metal albums in its brutality. When you see how nice of gentlemen the Manics are, it's almost hard to believe they made that. Cheers for this!!!
was that be my baby, completely spontaneous or was this something they rehearsed for a while? It was wild to watch everyone else so disinterested in such a stirring and fun performance of that song.
It was Brian’s favourite song (to the point of obsession and probably driving everyone else up the wall with it) so they would’ve known it very well and would’ve been disinterested for this reason 😂
