The white strips were just cut out of cardstock! The stickers were random ones I had in my craft supplies, but they would be similar to ones found in the mini alphabet/number sets in the sticker section of craft stores. 😊
It was just a typical acrylic craft paint! I believe Apple Barrel brand. ☺️ I used little sawtooth hangers on the backs. Using command strips would be a great alternative for them as well depending on size/weight. 💕
Hi! They were just 6 inch alphabet stencils that I had in my crafting stash forever. 😆 You could definitely make your own using a Cricut or similar machine and customize the size and font to even closer resemble the Scrabble letter font. 🙃
I used a tape runner for the back of the large pieces. Double-sided tape would probably be fine as well! For the smaller parts, I used a fine-tip glue pen. The yard line numbers were stickers. 😊
Wilton! They have the little pouches that you can buy at craft stores or Walmart in the cake sections. They’re perfect if you’re just doing a small batch and don’t need a lot of icing. ☺️💕
@@CraftyTreatAdventures I went to Hobby Lobby today to get what I needed, besides the spray to seal it all. Do you think Modge Podge would seal it just as well?
Thank you!! ☺️ I believe we just used the screws that came with the handles when we purchased them. They weren’t very long at all, so we just drilled a hole into the wood pieces for the screw to fit down into to make them work. ❤️💚
@@CraftyTreatAdventures thank U. Well it definitely did not come out as good as yours. My fondant that I bought was cracking as I was kneeding it. What do u recommend to do if it does? I added a lil bit of water. I rolled it and I placed it on the cake and it started tearing. I was able to make the buttons, shoes and my followers came out ok. Need to practice some more lol.
Adding a tiny bit of water can sometimes help. Shortening on the surface can be helpful when it seems to be tearing when rolling it out. Fondant can definitely be frustrating. I would say look up some fondant troubleshooting videos here on RU-vid. I think it will be most helpful to see a few different scenarios and find the solution to your specific problems with it. I’ve learned almost everything from watching tutorial videos. You already said it though...practice! It sounds cliche, but it really is true when it comes to decorating. Each time things get a little bit easier. As long as you’re having fun with it, the skill improvement will come. ❤️
I believe these ones were the 2-5/8” size. Sometimes you have to play with positioning with the socks a little bit and maybe folding over the edge of the sock could adjust the size enough to leave you space for the face if needed. It just depends on the ornament size and style/size of the sock. ❤️
It’s just to make them look more like Scrabble tiles, which have corresponding numbers for point values in the game. I was just able to google “Scrabble tile values” to get the appropriate numbers to go on them! 😊
