Where I share all my crafty adventures. On this channel I talk mostly about knitting but also crochet, sewing, and other crafts. I also share some about my life here is Lake Country, BC.
I think it is amazing that even during your family holiday you find time to put out “regular” episodes in addition to the daily vlogs. Thank you. It is so nice that you are finding the little quirky yarn shops along the coast of Oregon. You found some real treasures! Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
Oh, I’m so far behind on videos. Graduations, memorial services, birthdays - the time has been hectic for me. Thanks for taking me along on your summer holiday. I’ve lived in Oregon two different times (Portland area as well as Hermiston in Eastern Oregon) I also visit Oregon at least twice a year and love coming along with you on your holiday there. You are probably back home again, but for now, I’ll continue to binge your trip . Salam wa sa’aadah
So very nice to see you and catch up with your crafting again. Congratulations on finishing all the teacher gifts! Enjoy your family trip to Oregon. I lived there for several years back in the 70s (3 years just outside of Portland and 3 years in Hermiston). It’s a fabulous place. I still have a special place in my heart for Oregon and take trips there at least a couple of times per year. (A hidden gem is Clear Lake northeast of Eugene and the nearby Sahalie and Tamolich Falls - just in case you need to add more to your itinerary and find yourselves in the area.) Enjoy! Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
Yeah on your 2024 in/out yarn totals. Well done. Where will you be going on your summer holiday this year? (Or did you already say, and I missed it? Maybe I just dropped a stitch when you talked about it and I missed it.) See you next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
Ok, I'm six minutes in and have already decided that Mike needs to become a regilar fixture!!! 😂 obviously I love watching your podcasts anyway, but he has added a whole extra dimension of excellence! (Also I'm a little jealous - my husband never wants to get involved...) Congrats on reaching episode 100!!! x
That was such a fun episode, I wanted to like it at multiple times throughout but that would be counterproductive since it would end up liking/unliking/liking, etc.
Love that Canucks sweater! I'm sorry they're out the running this year. Do you have a book or series recommendation for a 10 or 11 year old who just finished the Harry Potter series? I like to read historical fiction, but my son loves fantasy, and I dont know what to direct him to. Thanks.
@rosberrycrafts Thank you for these suggestions! I will tell my son about them. I think he has read even read some of Percy Jackson (as a graphic novel tho.) Thanks again. J
Oooh, that little toddler hat is delightful! Who couldn’t love those colors?! Scrappy socks with the Jelly Belly minis! Scrappy socks are so very much fun to knit! Your in/out yarn numbers for the year are amazing!. Well done. One more episode to go until I’m caught up. I’ve enjoyed my knitting day with you Roz. Salam wa sa’aadah
I really like how you “faded” the hexie pattern so that the foot was basically lain knit. Think I will do that for the socks that I’m casting on this afternoon. 🧡🧶 salam wa sa’aadah
I have started to knit one pair of socks “two at a time” - but, almost immediately, reverted back to my favorite DPNs! I’m very much a process knitter and the rhythm of knitting socks with DPNs is just my absolute favorite! Episode 86 after lunch. Salam wa sa’aadah
Those Hexie Diamond socks are beautiful. I bought the pattern when it first came out and now that I see yours I’m going to go stash-diving this afternoon and cast them on straight away. (Since The Crazy Sock Lady’s supper sock camp MAL started yesterday so I now have “permission” to cast on as many sock projects as I want - - - all summer long!) Off to see episode 95. Salam wa sa’aadah
The finished shawl is beautiful. Those yarns are so lovely together. The footage of the walk was wonderful - thanks for taking me along. (I’m a month behind watching your videos so I’m off to watch the next installment.) Salam wa sa’aadah
How proud must you be seeing your creation at your husbands place of work! My question is what does hubby teach and can you tell me more about your career- I’m just nosey 🤣🤣😘
Sounds like you had a fun time on your weekend. out. I have a sweater shaver too and although time consuming they are so worth it. I do use my gleaner first for bigger pills on bulky weight sweaters.
I'm grateful for the effort you put into making this video. What are some of the unique techniques demonstrated in creating lace shawls featured in this video? As the owner of a dream interpretation channel, I'm seeking advice on how to incorporate symbolic imagery into my videos to enhance viewer engagement. I appreciate the effort put into showcasing the intricate craft of lace shawl making and have liked and subscribed to your channel for more inspiring content.
Great job in knitting from your stash this month. And lovely scarf you're wearing. Gsuge really knows how to dye beautiful yarn! (I'm always tempted to buy some after I see you wearing a project made from her yarm.)
Love your Ranunculus! How did you get your neckline to fit so well and not be as large as it seems in the pattern? How did you figure out what size to knit and how much ease you got? Did you switch instructions between different sizes? (Perhaps I should go back to November episodes to listen to what you said while you were working on it.) Hope you enjoy your long weekend. Until next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
There are 2 options in the pattern for neckline, one wider than the other. I'm sure I spoke about the options more in the November videos. Basically I measured I sweater I already had and used those measurement. And yes I did swatch. Hope that all helps. Thanks for watching.
Little late - hope you had a great time at the robotics competition. Your shawl with the purple yarn is beautiful. See you next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
