I watched this at 10 years old, by myself, in the theatre (they didn't give a shit back then, Smoked in the lobby, lol) AND I had to walk three miles home through the woods. If I had heard anything nothing could have caught me.

This movie was so intense. Its such a good movie and honestly deserves way more accolades for what it did.

racism is a weapon used politically to the point where "true racism" has been watered down.

I need my youngest child’s father to watch this movie because we’re going to a rough time right now when it comes to our child. We’re not together and have always had different styles of parenting. He’s the fun and carefree one who gets our child whatever they want and I’m the one who does all of the mental, emotional, academic, and disciplinary work.

Great reaction! You totally got it! Glad you watched this. This is one of those movies I'm not surprised reactors haven't seen. As funny as it is, a lot of people don't even know it exists. It's among my favorite movies. Amazing soundtrack, great cast, super-funny script, beautiful locations, I'm not sure why this wasn't a huge hit.

I was on Miranda's side until after the divorce. There was no excuse from keeping their children away from their loving father who could easily take care of them at home for a few hours. And I'm glad Miranda realized that by the end, which is the only reason I don't hate her.

Its like anyone ever sees and thinks its about racist whites but its not viewed with the same racism from black which is clear as day in the movie.
@TheRealMovieManGreg
@TheRealMovieManGreg 28 дней назад
Thats because the movie is surrounding the protagonist, who is white. If you take a movie like Lakeview Terrace - you will get a different response because the main character is a racist black guy.

The one thing I keep seeing in reaction to this movie, is that they all missed the Ouija board connection! That’s what opened her up to possession! I thought everyone knew that Ouija boards are really dangerous & evil!?

The only time you see real brotherhood between all people in America is in the construction industry. You always got to remember America's like 70% White. But not only that all of us white people are from all around the world!! There's a lot of different white people too.

What I find amazing in looking at all these Blazing Saddles reaction videos is that no one has yet commented on the Governor's name: "William J Le Petomaine." In the 19th Century, there was a French Vaudvillian by the name of Joseph Pujol, better known by his stage name, "Le Pétomane," or "The Fartsy." His act consisted of being able to "fart" various tunes and sounds with such precision that he garnered quite a following. It is said that he would clean and irrigate his colon on a daily basis to prevent any "fragrances" from ruining his performances. Look him up on Wikipedia (Le Pétomane).

I wouldn't take it for granted that Forrest Junior is actually Forrest's son. Jenny certainly had been with a number of other men. I don't know how educated Forrest was about birds and bees 💘 and where babies came from etc, but we know he soiled the bathrobe of Jenny's poor roommate earlier, and then, on the night before Jenny run away again, we saw them kissing, yes, but I wouldn't be sure they even had the sort of se* that could lead to pregnancy? 🤔 It's a terrible pity that the word Love seemed to mean just se* and abuse to Jenny, and thus, she was triggered to do what she did when Forrest asked her to marry him (jump between his sheets and then run away). Oh, and how long did she actually stay with Forrest? It looked like mid summer when she arrived, then they watched (4th of July?) fireworks in a warm summer's evening, and the next day (presumably), still on a beautiful, summery morning, she left. She could have been pregnant already when she went to stay with Forrest that time. It's only natural that she wants someone to care for her son when she's gone. And like you said, that leads one to think if it was the actual reason to reach out to Forrest, after all those years, because she knew Forrest wouldn't deny her anything. But yes, effectively, Junior is Forrest's son whatever the biology behind it all so it's a happy ending in that sense I guess.

In the 2019 remake of this film, it IS Ellie who is the one that is ran over by the semi & not Gage. The remake flips the deaths. So you kinda called it, lol. If you had just been watching the 2nd P.S. instead of this one, bruh..😂😉 Keep killin it, my brotha..✌🏻
@chrisbell9075
@chrisbell9075 Месяц назад
It's been said by many that Ellie possesses the same abilities to see things in the future, talk to dead people, etc, that a lot of characters in King's books possess, the ability to "shine" as they put it (although some of them can also use telekinesis & pyrokinesis too), such as the little boy Danny Torrance, his father Jack, & Dick Halloran, the chef at the Overlook Hotel, from 'The Shining,' Charlie & her father Andy from 'Firestarter,' Carrie White from 'Carrie,' John Coffey, the prisoner in 'The Green Mile,' Duddits, the alien from 'Dreamcatcher,' the Loser's Club kids from 'It,' etc.. Even her father, Louis Creed, has them as he can hear & talk to Paskow.. So that is how I always understood & looked at Ellie's dreams.. A lot of people in King's works share these similar abilities, & it runs in Ellie's family.. Albeit, in this case, just a little too late to prevent tragedy..

Aykroyd should have gotten Harold Ramis to direct since Ramis wasn't busy in the early 90s. It would have been the only time Ramis directed Aykroyd. He could have made the darkness and comedy clearer or if Aykroyd still directed playing two characters, he should've played Dennis instead of Bobo and Jon Candy play Bobo. They would both be playing two characters each and Aykroyd would be seen on camera without makeup.

She wasn't a 'working girl'... in case you didn't catch it, they were both BS'ing like crazy when they first met. From the jokes about her working for Yogurtland rewards cards, to his time running out (when it obviously wasn't), to the battle over who had a worse life/past. It was all them just sizing each other up.

@@Mr.EkshinThey make it very clear that Vanessa is a prostitute when she met Wade. Hence why he pays her $275, and she has sex with him. It's also very common for women working in strip clubs to prostitute on the side. So the fact that she's working as a server in a strip club towards the end of the movie, doesn't necessarily mean that she stopped hookin'
