Yes, I thought that too. I have about 100 seeds in fridge, waiting. 3 weeks now. I'm going to take 2 dozen out & break them open like in vid. See what happens. lol,,, it better work, or I'll slam-dunk this video! ;>)
@@Roxanne77777 Its too hot in the sommer and the seeds rot away, you must keep them in cooler space.I tried peach seeds, the same result, rotting and mold
It should be warm out, the soil should be in the high 50s to low 60s in fahrenheit, it's best to start them inside since it could take months for them to be big enough to transplant.
Cherries will not grow without getting months of cold temp first. That part with the cleaver is crazy, you can baton with a small knife & stick, no risk of being cut. Or pliers should probably work too.
@@jimw7043 I'm thinking it's the cherry type. There are tropical cherry types, like the ones in Florida. They must grow without cold, or they would not grow there. The type in Iowa must need the cold to grow. Or the whole cold thing is fake. I'm not sure anymore.
@@jimw7043 Seriously??? Without stratifying? If so,,, how old were the seeds? lol,,, I'll need proof. I was already thinking that this video IS click bait.
