what is the height and width of the staging legs and top piece please, how far does it jot out as i want to get 8ft x 15ft polytunnel but can not make it myself due to disabilities and i live on an main island in scotland so i suppose your lovely team wont be coming here

Is it better to avoid this kind of irrigation in there are tomatoes in one area of the polytunnel (small domestic) and go for trickle hoses running along the soil? I ask because I watched the previous video where you had tomatoes and you recommended this to avoid blight. I am not sure how to combine the two systems effectively in a small polytunnel!
Hi Katherine, the Soaker Hose is better for tomatoes. Blight thrives in wet conditions, so it’s important to keep foliage dry. Try to prevent the tomato leaves from being wet for too long. Water at the base of the plant when possible. This will make it much harder for the blight fungus to survive and spread.

With the hinged doors fit them so they open outwards then you don't lose growing space and the door doesn't touch the roof and make a hole. ESSENTIAL if your tunnel is at a school and you want children to have access, not cook and preserve your tunnel roof.
For the record, when building one of these larger tunnels, on your own, trying to decipher the instructions which are generic for all sizes and door types etc, locate parts and sort through the literal sack of fixings you can bet on a few days to build it - I'm a joiner so I'm not un-used to building things. It's straighforward in many regards but you do face instructions such as "see if you can work out how many Q Clips you'll need to attach to the tubes" - well that's something that you might be able to easily do when you know the product and industry but for the rest of us that's a puzzle. Would have appreciated a simple line drawing diagram of the actual size and configuration I had bought - would have saved a lot of time trying to read small print in the rain.
Another plus with this system is if you leave the polythene cove a little long under the to batten, you can drape it into guttering mounted on posts & collect all the rainwater runoff.
A poly tunnel would certainly help people grow even one crop that they love. Bugs are a huge problem but this would be minimized in a controlled space. I am really hoping to get one this spring.
