I learned about this story from the podcast, which was wonderfully done. Lots of insight into how and why people get involved in these situations.

I have no words, this documentary pulled on all the heart strings yet it is so important to watch. I hope people share this with those that they know because everyone should be made aware of Collins story. I had the privilege of knowing Collin through Saint Andrews and I will always remember him as the fun yet selfless kid who would go out of his way to put a smile on your face. He will be forever missed, rest easy Collin.

Many of us lived in this house in the 1970s-80s when it was the Lambda Chi Alpha house. The house was sold in the 1990s. Many memories. Sad and tragic story here. Sympathy to family.

I was a sophomore sorority member at OHIO when Collin passed. This story defined my college experience (besides COVID) and I always carry it with me, I thought about him often throughout the rest of my time in Athens. I am now a Higher Education Student Affairs professional and am able to pay forward the lessons learned from Collin's life and death to protect and serve college students. Keep doing this work Wiant Family, it is SO important.

I dropped my only son off at OU in August of this year. I experienced the same joy and worries that you describe…when you are away from them for the first time. I left a piece of my heart in Athens as well. Sharing Collin’s story has me asking the tough questions & listening to my gut. Collin’s law feels like a trusted friend is there with our college kids, protecting them when we can’t be there to protect them ourselves. Thank you so very much for that. God bless your beautiful boy. And thank you again. ❤️

The Wiant family are the most heartwarming people to be around. I went to school with Austin my entire life. I was not in Greek life myself, but being at OU I had heard horror stories for years about Greek life and hazing. It makes me fucking sick something like this could happen to such a amazing kid from the most amazing family. It’s amazing the strength the Wiant family has shown in the darkest of times. I hope passing of Collin’s Law brings about real change and gives the Wiant family some sort of peace. RIP Collin

Very powerful. And a message that should be shared with all of your college kids whether they're pledging a fraternity or sorority or not. Not all fraternities behave this way, but some certainly do. It also applies to other organizations like marching bands and sports teams. Please just educate your kids.

There are no words, other than your family’s strength is amazing to me. Collin’s death most certainly did not go in vain, his family had his back. God bless you all.

This documentary was extremely emotional to watch but I am so happy that it was made to help spread awareness on Collin’s Law and end hazing nationwide while also telling his story. Collin Wiant was a role model for me as I was a year younger than him on the high school basketball team. It is no joke when his family says that his smile was infectious. He had the brightest face any time you saw him and had one of the biggest hearts I’ve ever felt in another human being. He was a real one from the day we became friends at a festival in middle school and when I got to high school he was so quick to embrace me. We would run around columbus and play pokémon go and explore different areas of the city, and no matter what it was, it was always so much fun for me because he was there. He made me smile constantly and laugh and made every single adventure better. I will never forget the time we spent goofing off before every basketball practice playing kick the can soccer in the locker room. He was someone I could relate to so hard in a world where I feel like I can’t relate to many. He knew I wasn’t like a lot of the kids at high school and every single time we hung out we bonded more and more. As I have been traveling so much recently I think about him all the time and how he would be meeting me on some of these trips. EVERY STATE NEEDS COLLINS LAW, and everyone should know how amazing of a soul Collin was. Strictly the realest. Love you forever brother.
