Ironic. I was a teen in the suburban town of Fairport. A record collector gave me two records: What We Did On Our Holidays and Liege & Lief, just said he thought I ought to have them. I’ll Keep it with mine was the 1st song that grabbed me. I fell for a mythical singer named Sandy and new musical horizons. I think at the time Fragile was my favorite record. I don’t hear this Dylan song to often. I will take this for what it is, especially with Richard on guitar. Sandy had been gone 38 years at this point.

My least favorite Echobelly song. I LOVE the band. When I saw them in LA at The Roxy Sonya had the audience in the palm of her hand. It was THE most impressive 'command of the crowd' I'd ever seen by a female singer. Debbie was cruising the room, fun to see. She and Glenn wrote some incredible songs but it started with Glenn. As a lonely, single, bitter, old man I love that Glenn and Sonya found each other, formed a band, produced some great songs, and remain together. They lived my dream. Congratulations Glenn and Sonya. I will always be in your corner and will always buy whatever music you produce.

Excellent! She knows it's a hard song to sing and she approached it rather carefully. I got a kick out of the closing expressions on her face. She gave kind of a "I did OK I guess." She did great!
She used to sing this song to Georgia….Sandy wasn’t in a bad place…she loved and cared for Georgia…..so much untruths printed about Sandy caused by other folk to suit their own ends!….I know …like no one else can!

When you've been around long enough you start to get homesick for places that (and people who) no longer even exist as they were when you knew them. The only way to return there is in dreams. Or, anyone who has Ramblin' Fever knows the feeling of being homesick for places you haven't even been to before -- but intend to some day.
