No, we're not able to provide access to Articulate products at this time. We suggest ensuring that you have your design doc, storyboard, etc. ready before using your trial so you can spend time actually creating what you want and not learning the software. When you're ready, contact Articulate to see if you can get an extension on your trial. Good luck!
David, well said. Thank you for addressing the issues that you experienced at Disney. Unfortunately, I have experienced the same at other companies in my career. It is so frustrating.
When designing for diverse learners I would keep in mind UDL and making sure all the content is accessible for learners with disabilities and ESL learners. I believe that the key is to lower the barriers as much as possible when designing a course.
My initial reaction was to keep scrolling because of the very low quality in the presenters video. I'm glad I didn't! So far this is my favorite introduction to all these methodologies and theories. Very little irrelevant chatter 👏🏻. As someone in ISD this is all applicable advice. Strongly recommend redoing this one with better video quality. You'll triple your views and shares.
Suppose that you are an area erea e-learning manager, how will plan for the up-coming year for your umcoming academic year? How will organise, lead, and control your process for better results of learners?
I'm guessing from your comment that you are a manager in higher ed? If so, then planning for the next year requires meetings and sourcing all the needs across the departments that are assigned to you. You'll meet with them and collect all the courses that need to be created/updated. From there you'll collaborate with your coworkers on the priorities for next year. Once you have your list and priorities you can create full project roadmaps and track progress in a PM tool like Asana, Trello, etc.
We do have some contract roles that are 30 hours a week. All of our FT employees have also come from students in the IDOL courses Academy except our COO. And of course you can get a FT role outside of IDOL through the support and mentorship of the IDOL courses Academy. Thank you for your question. 😍
I’m not a woman of color…However, I am a male of color. I would like insight on how to move towards ID…I’m currently a teacher of 16 years, if that helps.
The best model is the First Principles of Instruction. In summary, keep the tasks that your learners need to complete at the center of your instruction. Demonstrate HOW to interview and call out each of the principles in your demonstration. Then give them application opportunities to practice those principles on their own with feedback from the instructor/course.
