As an abstract artist, I work in a variety of media. I am predominantly a resin artist with lots of beach art and sculptural resin pieces, along with paintings and home decor items. My ‘happy place’ is a turquoise ocean with a white sandy beach - that is where I love to be.
As a well-traveled Brit who has become a proud United States citizen, I'm inspired by the multi-cultural experiences I have had around the world. This is a passion I look for in the art that other artists create. It doesn't need to be perfect, but I love to see the passion of the creator.
I have a Fine Art and Art History degree (summa cum laude - shocking) from the State University of New York's Purchase College.

What an unusual, but ingenious use of old vases… they turned out really nicely! Thanks so much for sharing. Love from Nat. (Brisbane, Australia) ♥️♥️🇦🇺
I love how these sculptures look. Yours is beautiful. I’m still trying to finish mine. I made my base by placing the bottom layer on a flatter surface, so it can sit on its own. 😊
Here is a tip for larger items. Pour the resin you are going to use in small coffee storing straws to make tiny rods. You can use those and the glue. The rods completely disappear because they handle the reflection of the light the same way. Cheers
@@lindahemingway2232 well these have been sold a couple of years ago. My sculpture bowls vary from $80 to $400 depending on my time and material costs.
Oh, this is absolutely stunning!! Sorry, I am late to the party, as I have only just started playing with resin. This is, without a doubt, the easiest splash I have seen, by far! Thank you ❤
Jules this is a beautiful geode! I might have to try this asap but.... i will definitely start off a little smaller, lol. Lovely project thank you for the inspiration.
Those are exquisite!! You are extremely talented and I greatly appreciate your tutorials. Can you please tell me where you get your color changing lights from? Keep inspiring, Rhonda
@@shirleypfister4666 nothing on the plastic sheet. It’s from the hardware store and the kind house painters use to cover floors. It’s the thick kind. My resin is Just Resin - medium velocity.
