We are slowly trying to connect with academics overseas to facilitate Tamil. We are a small community now who actively learn from all across the globe. In the process of imparting knowledge , I would like to inject the music and various other aspects of our region and I have contacted a few institutions with positive reply as it is a harmless endeavour.. This enhances their learning experience. Being a violinist myself, I will definitely lean towards it and try to layer my language teaching with Tamil music whenever possible. Hi Karthik, thanks for explaining Mohana Raga. It was really helpful, have a small doubt that I see you been using the M1 and N1 in few places as janta/spurita gamakas, however those are Swaras are not permitted in the Raga and there is a chance that it can change the characteristic of the Raga, How do you see this?
