I know this video is over two years old, but I got my start as an engineer nearly two decades ago and I can tell you how the really took off. It is the terminal. In the days on Windows Vista if you wanted to develop for the web you had very complicated software options to develop locally. There was no easy way to spin up a Apache, MySql, Php environment. But the terminal has been in MacOS since X. Ruby on Rails was launched in 2005 and you could just easily start developing on Mac's. And not only that, setup and run multiple environments locally. I switched to Mac in 2010 and this is what I remember was how much easier it was to get into programming and start trying new things. Yes you could always do this in Linux, but linux wasn't where it is today. I personally believe that developers chose Mac mainly becuase it was easier to have local environments for things like Java, Ruby, C, Php & MySql and Apache were all baked in. So you have senior devs who adopted Mac's influencing the purchasing decisions of their companies and influencing the junior devs. Now that Windows actually has terminal emulation, this could change. But for years, a Macbook was the best way to have a linux like server environment locally on your machine.
Hey Soleyman, you reminded me to fix my schedule. I was laid off from my job a few months ago as a Network Engineer. Felt bad for myself, started to get up early, go for 2 mile walks and just recently joined your cloud academy and been loving it.
Is it imp to do practitioner certi as i have less time and i am familiar with all the practitioner concepts i want to take the SAA exam and prepare for that can i take the exam or do i have to go through the practitioner certi It will be helpful of anyone can guide me with this who had already acquired the certificates
i am karthikeyan,I have a experience in data annotation for 2 years also having carrier gap. Any course relate to data annotation? Or can I do aws course? If yes i want to know about freasher openings for aws. Kindly reply bro
You don't feel bad about the fact that you clearly took a job from a more qualified hard-working person? In three months, you are not qualified to be the janitor at any ANY tech company. All 8 skills needed to become a cloud engineer takes years to master and about 6-8 months to learn each one. Hence, it IS FAIR and CORRECT for companies to ask for 5 years experience.
Hii, Sir I See your content. It's so helpful. I can help you in some way. Do you need a video editor ? I can help you to save your crucial time through my editing skills.

They massively overcomplicate simple tasks and miss the irony of it being harder to deploy a web application to a server than was possible in 2003. At least in my experience....
Brother i'd love to know your suggestion about building a small data center for a cloud computing service company running with Proxmox as a core system. Is it a good idea to run with proxmox as the core system? Thank you!
I would be grateful if you can answer it: I live in Turkmenistan and Can I work remotely for international companies? There is no jobs for Cloud engineers in my country Thank you Soleyman. Happy Eid al-Adha!
I’m so glad I’ve came across your page! Im taking the AWS SAA in 2 weeks and debating on getting the AI certification since I’m a data science student. I’m definitely going to get this certification once it’s released. Thank you!
I love this video. But I find it funny that every single career/business motivation content creator was there at the Caffe shop when Jake the barista asked the business man for advice.
Dear sir there’s new course from AWS on AI. Sir what’s your take on this? Is the future of DevOps and Cloud threatened by this new course, like will the trend shift to AI, and what will be the demand of these certifications in future? If you could make a video on this, then it would be really helpful.
I am joining university next year. Currently 17 years old. I don't like solving problems that are hard and take a lot of time. I am good with implementing repetitive tasks. I am not complaining, so maybe I will go with cloud. I have 4 years of time to get a job. So, any opinion? Also heard that freshers are not hired in cloud engineering roles...but I love the idea of cloud....
