That was nicely done. Good power. Ive noticed a trend lately and am wondering if someone can explain it to me. It seems people are looking down a lot. The head angles towards the floor, especially with kids. Also watching the Kiu Sao as it comes in. Ive always practiced with the idea of looking in the direction of an imaginary opponent. Up and outwards. Any thoughts?
This form have hundred years and maybe more. Aren't you reproducing the same in your video? ... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OL-QvLU_FAU.html
Hey Sifu Heng. Fu Hok is my favorite form and you perform it very nice and traditional. The coolest thing is that the more you play around with FuHok the more versatile flava you will get with it.I put alot more emphasis on different parts like the drunken part and when 10 tigers starts.Where are your school at?Ive been practising Hung Gar since 88 with Sifu Tony Brown.
Dear brother, thanks for your Feedback, I'm a french practitioner, school in Paris, master Tse Cheuk Yin from Chan lineage. Traditional form but changed a little bit for competition to shorten. Thanks for your support 🙏
I've watched this video a hundred times! I'm competing in Italy in a couple of weeks, and I'm hoping that I get to see your school's amazing southern Kung Fu!!
That's amazing, I'm so touched by your message. I wasn't aware of your message before we met in Italy. At that time I tough wow you were amazing and I really see myself playing on the carpet with the intention and the power. Now that I know I was one of your inspiration make be so proud and that's an honor. Thanks brother you also give me inspiration. Same family under the sky.
Great performance. I pratice that form over 30 years every day. The form become a part of your life, of your charakter. I can see this also in your performance.
This isn't Baji Quan. It lacks the stomp that is passed down within the lineage. Look up Adam Hsu Baji Quan and you'll see the proper stomp in the footwork.
Well, maybe chinese teacher from Kun Yu Mountain are not as skilled than you are. You must be a great grandmaster here his CV www.chineseshaolins.com/loc.html
@@cantonaifou ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--vsRIHtAOoU.html If you look at all of the lineages of Baji, they all stomp. Li Shuwen, Liu Yun Qiao, Adam Hsu, Su Yu-chang, Ryuchi Matsuda, Li Jianwu, Wu Lianzhi, Wu Yue
@@jamescobrien Dont worry, he do stomp and the performance was aim to competition. However if you look at the ground, the performance was played on a modern carpet (double with judo tatami) with very high rebound. Stomping on this carpet don't send any feedback from the ground wich is really complicated for rooted style such as Baji or Hung gar. Here a video of the same guys outside of competition and without carpet facebook.com/watch/?v=590664688769698 Don't be rude with your judgement since we all play wushu and should have learned humility. Careful on your mabu, a weak mabu makes you lose balance on second 13, 26, 28 and 35.
Very fluid and good explosive power. Hung gar retains the spirit of the southern Shaolin temple. I think karate and the Malay martial arts took at lot from this style. Kevin, can we view your weapon forms? 😃
