Lambretta GP not really ugly...but our mind been seed by "that fucking scooter made in India, knock by Indian guys who even wash their hand after eating curry~" since kids... Lambretta GP Mods custom look really good...compare from 20 years ago, I have 0% tolerance when see Lambretta, since I getting old now... yeah it look really nice...back on the Japanese influence really strong, no one can used a scooter that been knock by Indian except them, it relate or connected with Buddha rope or root knot to preserve them root of religion respect...but at the sametimes, the dumbass India guys keep make people like me and people who lives in China and Taiwan boiling their blood...when we recall our memories that we been through.....crazy, that's all we can said.
man so many old faces ..i forgot how much fun they were back then , smartest mods in the 80's plus the best rallies / clubs and friends...thanks for sharing
There will never be anything like it again. We were so lucky to have been around and lived it. Great times great music great people and best of all who doesn't love the smell of 2stroke in the morning. KTF everyone.
I have loved scooter's since I was 14 . My first rally was Morecambe 1985 at 16 .l have owned a scooter all my life & would never get rid ever good video reminds me of been younger care free
I remember the Mod era and I applaud them for paying tribute to an era when looking stylish and smart getting about having fun was important. The millenials seem to spend a fortune on sports clothes but still seem to look like homeless people.
@@SoulStylistJukeBox The whole subculture is about snobbery, you pleb. Or do you think "Ace Faces" calling ordinary Mods "tickets" or "numbers" is a term of respect and appreciation?
Kids of today got nothing like this. Regardless of which gang 'mods, skins, greasers, psychobillies, punks we all had it so much better then. Well actually I was 'grown up' by 1988 but my little brother was still full on scooter boy at the time.
@@jamescooper3500 Funny i went to see them last night in Colchester number of people attended that were at this gig I think it is 1983 but I will double-check with my friends
Hi James, This video's date is wrong, It can't be 1988, it's 1986, Wizzo ( and Dave) the guys in the accident, had the Serveta 125 Lynx for about a year in 86, after the accident he left the whole Mod thing behind disillusioned!
Hello Jon, definitely 1988, see the rally patch at start with date on, also I remember attending the rally back in April 88. I sure a few other mods may be able to verfy date cheers.
Hi James, Yes I watched about 30 minutes and saw the start credits and also Classy saying Lowestoft 88, But Wizzo who was the guy weaving and wobbling on the scooter ( with Dave on the back) at 53.42 had left mid behind in 86 possibly 87 but definitely not 88, he crashed the scooter, I can’t ask either as both are dead…. Could it be to vodeos put together! The only other person who might definitely know is Grovesy. Sorry it’s all a bit of a mistery about the date…. Also I went Lowestoft 87 and 88 and there wasn’t that many people there Inless there were other runs to Lowestoft ?
@@jondrewett6604 hello Jon, I suppose the only other person who could verify date is dave porter who put the video together perhaps he merge footage from 1987 or 1986. Only of scooter ride out to great Yarmouth. Because rest of video seems to tie up with dates of when mystery headliner bad manners played Sunday night etc. Sorry to hear about the two lads who were in the accident. Would be good if some others could give there memories on the rally Anybody out there verify year?
This was Lowestoft 1988, The video hasn’t been mixed! This was the last year the dos were on the pier. The Sunday night live entertainment was busters all stars renaming themselves bad manners again on stage! Was the last year on the south pier
