I always love coming back to smaller channels that review DRG, and just watch as they gush over how great the game is. It fills me with a sense of pride to call myself a Dwarf. And shouting "ROCK AND STONE," is just that much better because of it!
19:30 One thing that I've noticed, is a guy in a lobby by himself is typically left that way. Most people that join a game late want to join a game that has 2+ people. So they most likely joined because you joined.
Came back to this video to thank you for brining this game to my attention. Never heard about it before watching and decided to try it out on your recommendation. Watched this like year and a half ago and 600 hours of drg later I still yearn for the mines
Sadly one of my friends is just so competitively oriented that he just can’t play this game. I love him to bits but the fact that everyone earns the same amount and that he can’t just horde everything competitively is what puts him off. He’s an @$$hole but he’s our @$$hole and by god is he good at PvP stuff
My buddies got me in and really trained me how to play on a refinery job and ever since I have been an absolute simp for refinery jobs. Like dude I will go through hell to do my funny pipe jobs
Started playing this game last year. We entered a dark era where the game seemed to be in an endless season 4. More Rockpox, more difficult enemies, more frustration. Many said this game was going downhill. *I've never had so much fun playing a video game in my whole life, and I entered during a dark time.* *Imagine how much fun I'm going to have in 10 days when they release season 5, and we get one of the biggest updates in the game's history.*
Keep in mind, In a couple weeks there will be another mission type to add to that list: Deep Scan. It will have you locating and scanning these “resonance crystals” (idk if that’s the actual name) in order to locate the mortise geode, and then calling down a “drillevator” to dig down to it and collecting the morkite seeds inside.
VERY IMPORTANT: you can pet most of the non-hostile creatures. There isn't a button prompt, but just press the interact button and you'll do it. Some examples: 1. The Cave Vine in Radioactive Exclusion Zone. Not to be confused with its much cringier cousin, the Cave Leech. 2. The Pogger Plant (Breather) in Radioactive Exclusion Zone. 3. Hexawing Gniffer in Azure Weald. It flies away, but you can do it. 4. Lootbugs, of course. 5. NOT the Maggot. Ew, _gross!_
The scouts grappling hook isnt selfish in my opinion. Hes a scout, he is supposed to search places ahead of his teammates. He has to go to the places where other people cant.
Another way this game enforces co-op is not only do some enemies have the ability to grab players, but most enemies in general have very smart path finding and will try to flank or surround you a lot, which means you have to cover your teammates often, on top of working together to take down the tankier ones. Also The game’s voicelines are super hilarious. And the environments look really cool.
funny vid explain a game with a other game .. makes only sence if your opposite know the other game xDDD and u say the gunner is like a gunner xD the engi is like a engi xD the scout is like a scout xD but the driller is like a pyro? because one of his weapons is a flamenthrower and we'll just ignore the rest xDDDDD
I loved hearing that project Dwarka got revived into what is now Deep Rock Galactic today. I would honestly love a medieval mining Dwarves version of Deep Rock if it was made by these guys. Imagine using magic weapons, tools, and spells instead of the high tech we get in DRG. Even if it never came close to being what DRG is today I would definitely play the hell out of it.
Speaking of the community, the most toxic dude I've ran into was this super-promoted level 300 scout who teamkilled me all cuz i tried to rock and stone and get some more gold (i only had like 500 credits and was trying to fully upgrade my boomstick)
I wonder if people of the future will see this vid and be like “Wow, graphics were so doodoo back then”(doodoo in our time period means bad, oh wise people of the future). But for real if someone is reading this after 5+ years or smthn, go play Sekiro (2019 Game of the year), it’s so good. Hopefully I have a gf when I come back to this comment. Yeh yeh bye bye
