Hello, Derek here! so at this point of the game we had reached the round time and were in turns. I had taken my last available turn and knew the round would end in a draw, but unfortunately for us, our LGS only provides prize payout to players with 3 wins or better. What this means is that a draw is equivalent to a loss. So instead of having both myself and my opponent essentially take a loss and go into round 3 with only 1 win I decided to concede so at least one of us would be 2-X.
@@Healthiswealth78392 For the foreseeable future, no, all my uploads will be here on the Wizards of the North channel! I still play a good amount of DnT in paper so you can catch those here but I don't have as much time as I used to to upload MTGO content anymore.
Ah nice catch! I didn't even notice my opponent scry'd instead of surveilled haha. I think there will be a lot of awesome MonoW DnT decks coming out. My list will likely drop blue since I don't think Cryptic Coat adds that much to the deck, but Bowmasters is still a great card and I'll be testing the black splash for a while still.
These decks are definitely the top 3 of the meta but i think all 3 can be number 1 depending on the pilot. Also watch out for green/yellow discard that deck can be quite threatening.
Chien-po is the latest addition in Savjz Blue steel list so I’m not surprised most lists started adding it. Its good in protecting cogs and ariel the turn he comes in
Also, I never heard you two make a deal about the rift. Counterspell player pretty much said that if no one forces him to play it, he won’t have to. That wasn’t a deal, unless there was something said off camera.
No root sliver? Unless it’s still to come, I’m at the first two tutors. Would’ve figured vs counterspell tribal you would go for Crystalline and Root before anything else🤷♂️
Hahah Nice Nick I play almost the same deck. They didn't shuffle good second game. It's a big issue in these games. Cards stay to close together in the discard. Everything should be pile shuffled first before every game. To insure cards are spread out.
We're hoping to begin working with as many local LGS as possible, but Ogre's will definitely be a main event location for us. Hoping to throw another one end of May
Thats the unfortunate reality of poison storm going against an aggro deck, they basically have 0 opposition to their gameplan of turning creatures sideways.
