Was just teaching my girlfriend to shoot yesterday. Once I got her holding the gun correctly, she was aiming and firing slowly like this. After a few shots, I got her to pull the trigger three time as fast as she could. She hit all 3 shots center mass. I told her that if she ever has to shoot at a person, always fire 2-3 shots and repeat as necessary.

A bigger gun might be easier for her to shoot! That one looks a bit snappy… good shooting!

She should be shooting something more compact to full size

Teach her first how to handle and hold it first before actually shooting it.

Wrap her left hand around the 3 fingers that are gripping the lower. The left thumb should be facing the target. The right thumb is resting on the indention that is fixed below the slide catch. 👍🏽

what corey mahar said, why wouldn’t you teach her proper grip fundamentals from the beginning. don’t ingrain bad habits into a new shooter.

Should’ve taught her the proper grip. The teacup grip from movies is by far the least effective way to stabilize a pistol with two hands.
