Don’t even blame Sanchez for the first one, caicedo shouldn’t have played it back to colwill where he can’t even clear it with the biggest hospital pass
If you want to learn more about the game I recommend Ben Fosters podcast The Football Fill-in. Ben Foster is an ex pro played for Man Utd, Watford, Wrexham etc. There's episodes every week where they discuss the fixtures in the previous gameweek, and also a little quiz at the end to sharpen your ball knowledge.
The rivalry between Celtic and Rangers is fundamentally rooted in: England's invasion and partial colonization of Ireland beginning on 1 May 1169 England's (with the help of the Scots and Welsh) re-invasion and full conquest of Ireland (1536 - 1691) The Plantation of Ulster, the organized colonization (plantation) of Ulster - a province of Ireland - by people from Great Britain during the reign of King James VI and I. Most of the settlers (or planters) were Protestants from southern Scotland (predominantly Presbyterian ) and northern England (predominantly Anglican); their culture differed from that of the native Irish (predominantly Catholic). Small privately funded plantations by wealthy landowners began in 1606, but the full-on plantation officially began in 1609, and ended in 1690. The plantation was organized by King James VI and I as a means of controlling, anglicizing, and "civilizing" Ulster . Prior to the plantation, the province of Ulster was almost entirely Gaelic, Catholic, and rural and had been the region most resistant to English control. These settlers (or planters) were sent to live in Ulster to ethnically cleanse the indigenous Irish Catholic inhabitants, thus transforming the province from one which was almost entirely Gaelic, Catholic and predominantly Irish-speaking, to a province which would be predominantly subservient to English (and later British) rule, Protestant, and English-speaking The Great Irish Famine (1845 - 1852), and the subsequent mass exodus out of Ireland that emerged from it. Between 1830 and 1914, up to 300,000 Irish people immigrated to Scotland, the vast majority of them were Catholic, and the majority of them settled in the Glasgow metropolitan area and the West of Scotland. Celtic Football Club was founded on 6 November 1887, at a meeting in St. Mary's Church Hall in the Calton area of Glasgow by Andrew Kerrins (religious name Brother Walfrid), a Marist Brother from Ballymote, County Sligo, Ireland. It was founded with the purpose of alleviating poverty in the poor Irish Catholic immigrant and diaspora population in Glasgow's East End. Celtic quickly gained a strong and committed following amongst the Irish Catholic immigrant and Irish Catholic immigrant-descendant population of the Glasgow metropolitan area and the West of Scotland. To this day, the vast majority of Celtic's support comes from Glaswegians of Irish Catholic descent. In response to Celtic's founding, a football club with explicit Irish Catholic connections, Glasgow's native Scottish Presbyterian and pro-Unionist leaning populatio (many of whom held deeply anti-Catholic and anti-Irish racist beliefs) adopted Rangers, founded in 1872, If you want a decent documentary on the rivalry between Celtic and Rangers, the Old Firm derby, this documentary from 2000 is a far better introduction. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-C2D8r_s15No.html&ab_channel=mp3dash There's also this one - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SoBcrGIQQdg.html&ab_channel=Anything%26Everything And this one - https:/ /ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-cggTbCcbcNA.html&ab_channel=VICE
I'm one of the guys who suggested you to practice a bit of football just in order to apreciate the difficulty of what you are seeing in the beauty of football video. Me as european and spaniard i have aquire this knowledge at 6 yeats old...so i understand all😊
My way to loving futbol was watching Ronaldinho in his first season at Barcelona, I remember shouting very loud his first gol against Sevilla. I was a Barça fan since then until around 2015. I remember watching Messi's and Busquets' debuts. It was a great time for futbol, and it's great to see you loving it too. I think you should take a deeper look into Puyol, I don't know if you already have, but there are some good reason he was the captain of that team! Greeting from Chile
The thing is Ronaldinho had way more potential , he trained hard but mid career he started go through drugs, parties, and more stuff that made teams don't want to hire him and he starting lowering his level.
Both conceded goals for Chelsea were on the keeper but for 2nd 1, coach wants him to play out even if it leads to mistakes. Chelsea coach is new so it’s not going to be perfect within 6 games.
Football is a game of split second decisions. I don't blame Sanchez for coming off his line to collect the cross. With the trajectory of the cross, it is not unreasonable for the keeper to come out and collect it, but the issue was that the space was occupied by 3-4 players already, so the keeper could not collect it cleanly. I believe that Sanchez should have realized as soon as he stepped out that the space was too crowded for him to get a touch on the ball and either punch it out or collect it and strafed back to his line, however he continued coming forward which was the mistake.
If you like this kind of content, a hit on the like button would really help me in the algorithm! You don’t even realize how much a like helps my video performance. Thanks 🙏
It was pretty unreasonable but in his defence, colwills failed clearance put him in a very strange situation and he made the wrong split-second decision
When I see football match first time and first think in my mind just 2 goals in one match......??? WTF.... And team wins. Like I spend my time and focus on game and I saw just two goals( I know that it's very hard to goal when many players are there for Stop the ball) but in cricket also there 11 players to stop one batsman. Wtf I'm talking about but I mean I found Cricket is more interesting 🤔
You can compare the enjoyment that comes with cricket and other sports like football, rugby or baseball. But when the cricket ball hits the ground with 140 km/h and come to the batsman.....then how he can hendel the ball with 360 degrees ground (with 50-90 meter boundaries) 😊😊😊
The weight isn't just about stamina. You literally cannot pivot or "animate" as fast as you should be able to, due to the weight. This affects dribbling, ball control, passing and shooting. So basically everything about football. Trying to play football while overweight is a great way to lose weight, but it's also a serious struggle. As long as you don't over-eat to compensate for the calorie burn of playing football it's actually one of the best ways to lose weight as well. If you think football is too harsh on your joints to play frequently enough to use as a weight-loss exercise then I recommend getting an elliptical trainer machine and just watch a tv show or w/e for 40mins while you exercise on the elliptical every day. Just make sure you remain in a calorie deficit (introduced by the daily exercise) to actually lose the weight, don't just start eating more, because you "now exercise and can afford to eat a little more food". Last things to mention - don't bother running in a park or on a treadmill, an elliptical trainer is considerably better. Lifting weights is also extremely beneficial, although it doesn't directly help with weight loss, it's always recommended for almost anyone. But it basically doubles the commitment you have to put into exercising, so it's more of an optional suggestion, despite of how incredibly beneficial it is.
brazilian here, i was born in the same citty of him, Porto Alegre-RS. I'm a fan of Internacional, one of two teams in the citty, Ronaldinho was Gremio's player when he started in futebol. But the incredible thing about us from Internacional, is that at when we won the world teams cup, was against Barcelona and Ronaldinho was playing that day. You all can search for "inter campeão mundial against Barcelona". The day that Ronaldinho lost for his first enemy in carrer.
