Since 1975, Northland Fishing Tackle® has brought many innovative, premium quality products to the market. Products fisherman have grown to depend upon to consistently attract more fish to their bait... and trigger them to strike!
John Peterson started pouring jigs and tying tackle for his guiding clients in a small remote cabin in northern Minnesota. The lures were innovative, made with high quality components, and most importantly were catching fish when no other baits were working! The word spread like wild fire, the phone started ringing... and the Northland Fishing Tackle® brand was in hot demand!
For over 25 years now, John and the Northland® Pro-Staff have been designing, testing and perfecting an exclusive line of products that catches fish like no other brand on the market today. Manufactured in the heart of Minnesota's finest fishing waters, Northland® is one of the country's leading producers of premium quality jigs, live bait rigs, spinnerbaits and spoons for Panfish.
In stead of stalling the motor why not hold the rod sweep it forward and then sweep it backward leaving some slack enough to stall the bait and do that every now and then just like when trolling a stickbait
Does it actually weigh 1/8 oz? I just weighed my regular 1/16 oz buckshot and it came in at 4.76 grams. Kind of crazy that a 1/16 oz spoon is slightly less than a 3/16.
Hi guys I have a question regarding slip bobbers: my leader line 4lb about 24” long seams to get twisted around and will not untangle it self (So upsetting) how do you STOP leader line tangling up: casings to hard or trying to cast long distance??? Please advise me what I should be doing. Respectfully Bill S.
This guy seems to be a pioneer in forward facing sonar for walleye, there will be better younger coming.I am curious to see if bottom bouncers and crankbaits will be replaced.I am a much better fisherman than this guy could ever be,kind of a one trick pony. How does FF sonar work when mounted on the trolling motor and on spot lock?
Gussy, after being a trout fly fisherman my whole I am now learning the smallmouth game. I like this video, but have questions about the soft plastic bait on the hook. Fishing it on a Ned rig makes me think you want the bait to not be salted so it might stand up better when the rig is on the bottom. What company makes craw imitations that are small enough for a Ned rig and would not be salted? Do you trim back the front end of the soft bait?
First thing i ever learned about Walleye is that while they have certian structure they prefer over others, they can be anywhere. Ive caught Walleye in 25 feet of water in the spring and 6-9 feet in the summer and fall. If you want to catch Walleye, you have to be versitle not only in where you fish but how you fish for them.
Great video, especially the segment on how the weather affects the shallow fish. Being a Tournament Fisherman I’m guessing there can be some hesitation on what to share for obvious reasons. So it makes me appreciate even more the insight and information you shared in this video. Well done!!
You're fishing in a mud puddle, you could probably use a piece of your shoe and they'd still bite in that stained water. Try that plastic worm on Leech Lake
